When I say I ABSOLUTELY 💗 💗 💗 your travel tips!! Thank you 🙏🏾 we did a girls trip in 2023... stayed in Bocogrande at a beautiful Airbnb on the beach...we also visited Palenque so beautiful to see our Afro-Colombian family and the rich history 🤗 we are going back this summer AGAIN! 💃🏾One Caribbean love to another 🇻🇮 🫶🏾

We went to Cartagena last year and enjoyed it tremendously. Can't wait to return. One of my favorite places in the world. Very unique. Our favorite restaurant was Cuzco Cocina and drinking limonada de coco. Damn I can't wait to return.

I hated for this video to end. I was not familiar with this destination. The old wall town WOW very inspiring. Thanks for touring around the sites and I enjoyed the music. I was wondering what the temperature was at the time of your visit. Thanks for sharing. Loved this video!!!

Hon's lobster was more impressive than Big Marv's three red snappers, IMHO. I liked this video format a lot--with the multiple hotels, bars and restaurants. I know that this is trip dependent. WOW--the art everywhere! South America will be on the list soon!

Great video! The vibe on the Mirador Rooftop was fantastic and the view of the clock tower was great! Unfortunately, I was very disappointed when we considered staying a couple of nights at Casa Noir. The rooms were very underwhelming. The rooftop was under construction and they were not willing to offer any discounts because of the limited amenities. I'll consider giving them another opportunity on my next visit to Cartagena. Keep up the great work with your videos!

@@MarvandAnnMarie La Casa de Socorro is a good restaurant with local food and you have to try Posta Cartagenera or any dish with sea food and the coconut limonade, I love also Crepes and Waffles, in the last one you can try the crepes with sea food they are amazing😊

I'm from NYC but I stayed at 2 places on cartagena the Palmetto sunset which had beautiful views and spacious rooms and also Bahia 79 in Manga. Shout out to the Manga area theres alot of tranquilo locals and its away from the tourist areas and a walkable 20 mins to El centro, walled city etc. Best place to stay if you want to keep a low profile. Loved your vid btw very informative but the places you suggest are very expensive for the pricy of hyatt you can stay at your own apartment or airbnb home with private pool. Again this is if you want a low profile and at a decent cost and away from heavily populated areas.

I enjoyed your video - very well made and great information. We are planning on a trip in February 2023. I was thinking of booking tours , in advance. through Trip Advisor/Viator etc. Did you do this or did you book tours once you got there? Sometimes, I try to be to organized. I like to know what I'm doing and have some type of itinerary. What do you think? Thanks!!

Glad it was helpful! You will have a blast. We booked once we got there as we like to choose where we are going based on the forecasted weather. We reserved one to two days before and it was ok for us.

Hi my husband and I love your videos they are helpful. We are traveling to St Maarten next month and wanted to find out which guide you used on your boat tour and we were planing two nights in Anguilla and plan to take your advice for Zemi is there anything else we should ensure to not miss?

Awesome💯😍 You will enjoy it. Zemi Beach is on a great beach. Consider visiting at least one other beach for a few hours. If you are in Anguilla on a Sunday check out the Cap Shack at Cap Jaluca. We rented the boat using www.getmyboat.com I do not have the direct contact information.

I enjoyed your video and recommendations. I would like to know if you feel it necessary to make tour reservations prior to leaving the U.S i.e Tripadvisor?. Or do you feel it's pretty easy to book the tours once we arrive at the hotel.

Thanks😍. For the tours and activities, a couple days before is ok. Restaurant reservation 1 week prior to ensure you have the date and times you prefer.

Thank you so much for this! This video is the best explanation of where/what to do in cartagena colombia. Im traveling solo in September, im torn between staying in bocagrande or getsamani? Airbnb or hotel? And I would love any other advice for a solo woman traveler?

Glad it was helpful! It may be safer to be in a hotel than Airbnb as a solo traveler. Getsamani is a transitioning neighborhood, it safe during the daytime, we are not sure about nighttime as we did not stay nights over there. Bocagrande has alot more tourist and people around. Enjoy your visit.
