As a capitals fan I am nervous because the flyers might actually be good But as a goaltender I am excited to see carter with the Flyers

been wanting to get a look at the young goalie and... whoooaaah. its tough to judge talent as a fan when looking at pre-ahl hockey but this dude is just relaxed and in the right place, sees the puck well... now im anxious.

Yeh as far as styles go, i don't have the eye to tell the difference unless we're talking vintage Hexxy. but I know we need to hit on one after all these years... Tired of our guys letting the beach ball squirt in from impossible angles, lol.

Price for me is the comparable. He just looks so relaxed in the net.

humm idk about Quick, he's not as fast or athletic but his style is VERY simillar to Carey Price, very calm and composed.

No problem, thanks for the subscription. Could be as soon as next season but would much rather him have a year as the starter in the AHL.

Yes I agree with you. But if he looks really really good in training camp then the Flyers might have a tough decision to make.

No matter what Hart needs to start the season as an AHL starter. Even if he looks NHL ready he should play at least 3/4 of a season as a full time starter for Lehigh. If he’s tearing up the league by then you give him a few games up and then send him back down for the Calder Cup Playoffs. Next year he can split between the leagues playing backup in the NHL and starter in the AHL. He needs to play a good amount of games, you don’t want to see him sitting on the bench most of the season. You can’t rush a goalie. Even if he looks ready you can’t put him in too early.

Max I agree with everything you said. I just can't wait to finally have a goalie that we can have for the next decade or more and put this goalie shit finally to bed. You are right by letting him get good playing time with the phantoms next year.
