Carter I know you probably don’t look at comments but you said boost don’t help you at all in a setting video and I disagree because if you are on linear your aim will be slightly worse but with boost for me it actually help. I know it’s personal preference but I think you should try it some time

It's mostly personal preference at this point. If you play your fights really slow and methodical though, I think there'd be benefits to turning it off

Fps doesn't do anything. There's no difference between 144-360. So get a decent pc ($800) Good Kbm($200) and decent wifi (10 ping)

Something you need to realize it that everyone has good mechanics. It comes naturally with playing the game. To train ur game sense just w-key in ranked. Also I would watch @zykoma ‘s vid on how to transfer creative skills to in game skills.

Nope, 60 fps is normal but 150 ping is bad, try to drop it to 60-30

yeah you dont need to do alot of edits to be good in my case it took me almost 5 months of playing fn to understand that thats not needed in ranked. Atleast from that experience i can do alot of ediits and also know what im doing

Great video, Carter! I'll add that it might seem initially confusing to try and simultaneously hold : "turn improvement into a competition" and "don't compare your journey to others" I balance it by keeping some kind of record of where I started. That's part of the reason I upload some of my gameplay (that, and the lols). That way, I'm competing with myself. I do this for any skill I'm trying to get better at. Game on :)

fortnite building has evolved. With tac sprint and mobility items, doing 90s is not practical. Getting into perpetual build fights only increases your chance of being third partied. IMO, it's all about box fighting to get good at this game, and piece control

If you're fun to play with people will usually care less about your skill level. Or just find someone that's barely better than you where in 100 1v1 rounds you win like 40 of them and they win 60, those are the best players to help improve.
