it depends. scalpers used to buy pre built PCs to get cheap gpus, and sold the rest at a loss. same for crypto miners. so it can be. although with PCPartPicker it is very easy to choose the best bang for your buck. i got mostly new besides a high end case and some fans from a friend.

@@KingSteven77 i usually go cpu first because i need that low lag high refresh rate feeling. but gpu first is good for crazy graphics at a stable 60 fps. and the great thing about pcs. you can customize them be exactly what you like.

Don't build that, build this: Ryzen 5 5600x MSI MPG B550 ATX Mobo EVGA 3060 Ti Teamgroup TForce Delta RGB(or non RGB depending on preferences) 32gb ddr4 3600mhz Thermaltake 750w 80+ Platinum Modular PSU NZXT H5 Flow All this, and u still have enough for an AIO (for example a deepcool 1 if on a budget or maybe a corsair or nzxt 1 if u wanna cough up a bit more) if u plan on upgrading to a more volcano like CPU, if not, a bequiet or noctua cooler is more than good enough, a 1tb nvme, and whatever else u feel like can be added on
