Join as we head to another stunning Carters Steam Fair on its final tour this time at our local ground in West Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England
This absolutely amazing vintage funfair is in an amazing location upon a huge field with so many beautiful rides to experience for the whole family, the Giant Octopus makes a return and I finally get to ride it
Carters was also host to a sign-writing festival and a free fireworks display on Saturday night, the fair was on till the next day where I actually worked a shift by helping out, stay tuned for that vlog
I also got the drone up for some amazing aerial footage above the fair and fireworks
Footage was filmed in 2.7k 50fps using a GoPro Hero 9 Black plus a DJI Mini 2 Drone

I remember the giant octopus and the jets as both used to come to our local fair in leeds back on the early 80,s Brought back some good memories.

Finally got on the octopus at long last👍glad u had fun in the sun at the park, hilarious on the skid with ur mate, he was just sat there then it was like he came to life when he got squirted with water😂😂😂 it's absolutely soaking you know 🐛

Brilliant fair, I went to the Hornsey one, I can't ride the Octopus as I have a back problem that it would irritate sadly. Funny thing is I can do dodgems but nothing that goes up & down, the gallopers is the oldest ride there I believe, made in the 1890s, steam yachts are 1920s.

18:07 - The steam engine is called Britannia and if you go to Dorset this year, you’ll catch it in the main fair should you look hard.

Make sure you pack enough money. I’ve promoted it to Shawn (tpw). And if you look hard, Dr Haze brings his Freak Show down featuring acts from the infamous Circus of Horrors as seen at Tulleys Shocktoberfest.

29:58 - I was there the same night and I had to wait until the end of the evening for a ride on the skid because of the not allowing single riders. My folk didn’t want to go on. Because I know Harribo who was at the front and obviously Wayne, they let me on straight away and I got one of the best cars. If they know you well, they’ll always be generous, except with Joby and Dave because of the mugs. You never know, that may change.

You’ve still not been to Croxley Green though. Croxley Green is the in the top 3 grounds of the season. It could well be first when if you go. They could definitely be the bigger equivalent of Pinkneys Green.
