It's been said many times already but loving seeing Edwin as a presenter in the videos, rewatching some super old CT vids he's been about a while and a great add to the crew. Very genuine and gives real car enthusiast vibes that I think could make even a non car person enjoy

I stand with Edwin, the amount you've got out its the best time to clean that bay out and make it look fresh

Car Throttle videos are the golden shining light of the subscription page. These -cleaning- rebuild videos are ace, always enjoying seeing mates have a laugh together on a project.

I love having Edwin on the channel, I know he's a mechanic and he knows what he's doing but him just diving in head first and even if it goes wrong he just makes doing mechanics less daunting. Which for me as an aspiring mechanic is refreshing and fills me with hope for my future.

Im with edwin on the cleaning. Do everything and make a 1 day job a whole week ordeal

I have this kit on my 924 - Ciprian’s done an amazing job designing and manufacturing it. Really pleased with the quality, and the noise it makes is incredible!

I shames me to say this, but when Alex left I lost hope in CT. I wasn’t that into the videos that were posted, but in the last 5 months I’ve just been enjoying the channel more and more. Edwin is such a wild man and he is wonderful on camera. I think Jack does a wonderful job as the lead and Ethan is just precious ❤️ Excited to see how this Porsche fares, hope you do can do a bit of a respray too! Edwin constantly cleaning had me rolling lol

On my 944S, replacing a simple sensor and vacuum line turned into an entire engine vacuum system overhaul, and cosmetic refresh of the entire engine. Painted the valve cover silver (with the Porsche script hand painted black) and the intake manifold a matching silver. Note for those who cared to read: my car’s name is Wurm (worm in German) on account I found dried earth worms under the intake manifold on the side of the block. No idea how they got there.

I agree with Edwin on the cleaning. You really do need to clean all you can so you can see better if anything leaks etc. And it's gonna be a LOT more fun to work on the car if you don't need to be afraid of getting a gonoherpesyphilis every time you touch anything.

Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather.

Writing on a bonnet with a white marker just gave me the best flashback to scrapheap challenge. (I loved the music they used during build montages in Scrapheap Challenge, but I've never been able to find any of it - if anyone has found it (not the title music), do let me know)

I say you paint the 924 the green of the bonnet, it looks the dogs bollocks and is a rare colour 👌

Original horsepower figure would have been horsepower at the crank not the wheels! Always good to maybe 20 or so off when comparing to a dyno run (wheel horsepower).

My first Porsche was a 81 928 I bought for the equivalent of 650 pounds. Served me well for 8 years until the head gaskets finally let go. Still have it, but it's in pieces. Gotta say that cheap Porsches are the fun ones!

Honestly, they could've just slapped the supercharger on and called it a day, but I think it's great that they're changing other parts, cleaning things and showing the 924 some love! ☺ They're making it look great AND significantly reducing the amount of disease associated with the vehicle after sitting all these years. Removing all that dirt is basically weight reduction at this point 😂

I owned a 924. Steers like on rails. when put in storage, the chassis was stiff enough to remove 3 wheels on one jack lift. Perfect 50/50. 944 was an incredible car at the time, we had a race series using 944. The 924 was a pig for a sports car accelertation wise but when it was on the boil, Gdamn could it corner.

"We'll be better at it from now on." Is a saying that has already become a part of who I am and almost everything I do. 😂
