Jaguar have created the new benchmark in luxury sports cars, they are the newly crowned Ultimate Driving Machine!! BMW, Mercedes and Audi have to settle for second best...

The front and the interior looks quite good but this back end kills the whole car...

Jaguar is the new Daddy in it's class, everything else is just second best... XE is another level up from a BMW 335i, Audi S4 and Mercedes C-Class... Congrats to Jag for beating the best the world can throw at it.

Old X-type experience: Very good - when replaced standard struts with Bilstein, the engine from Ford Locoln LS, 3.0 petrol was one of the best. Regarding the XE look - a very generic modern car... Jag needs to do more of a brand look (Bentley does it, and the brand holds on).

Why o why do they always put music on videos like this? Whe just want to hear the natural sound.....

Like all things, just comes down to personal taste and I like the sleek exterior, the dressed down interior styling and don't care much for infotainment besides Bluetooth audio and voice. Also, everyone isn't driving around in a Jag which I kind of prefer to the ubiquitous 3 series. Full disclosure: I own an E90 335i, but you couldn't pay me to drive the new F30 3 series.

Sorry bmw racer wannabes, especially those who recently bought a bmw. There's a new king in town. Deal with it.

They just copied the back end from a Audi A5 !

Looks great until you see how the back half is inspired from some girly compact car. Is it possible for a sports sedan to have good rear seat headroom without sacrificing looks? Hopefully they saved the total package for a coupe version, if they make one, which they better. In any case Jaguar managed to design a car that surpasses all in its class when it comes to being a driver's car, an accomplishment that deserves credit.

Ahh, but what about the Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce?? I hope to change my current car for either the Alfa or the Jaguar XE. Soooo difficult!😁😁

And yet the X type acctually looks like a Jaguar while this looks like a generic NPC car. Looks more like an upmarket Mazda than something like a Jaguar. And btw its sales were much lover than X type's and X type being much older is still more reliable than a newer XE. I think sir William Lyons is rolling in his grave because of this direction where Jaguar is today heading.

I t doesn't suck because you can basically get a bentleycontinetal gt speed powertrain package in a jaugar for less money now not the same acceleration as a bentley but pretty close sound (minus the supercharger sound) due tue both a jag and a bentley has 8 speeds plus jag is 3.0 forced induction where as bentley is forced induction as well plus the 3.0v6 is basically half of a 12 cylinder in the bentley, but not powerwise because only the new continetal 4psngr supersports is nearly the same power in this jag v6 just only the jag needs 10 extra hp to be half of hp that the 6.0 w12 in the continetal supersports.

and things not to like? 1.very poor gas mileage XE S. 2 the infotainment doesn't even come close to the i-drive. 3. the back of the car. 4. poor visibility. 5. 75% of the car is aluminium and it's still heavier than the 3 series
