Your story reminds me of the movie Rebel Moon in which the militarized Motherworld threatens a farming world. The new edition of Cartograph currently on Kickstarter looks really nice, I should get it. Great review, thanks.

It's a fascinating game. I finally sprung for it. LOL I highly recommend Mappa Imperium for a more macro world building equivalent.

They are an old fantasy themed deck of Bicycle cards. I don’t think they sell them anymore…

@@GeekGamers01 Good to know, thanks. [edit] I think they're Bicycle Alchemy II Gothic Playing Cards. I searched and was surprised to find that Bicycle has a ton of themed decks. I always written them off as a plain jane card company.

Hey I have a question before playing ttrpg solo do you need ttrpg knowledge and experience like, watch KZfaq ttrpg related things and playing a game session as a player then a gm before playing, should I watch ttrpg related or play a game session or both before playing solo?

Many games (like this one) are self-contained and you can just pick it up and play. If you are attempting to use a tradition RPG rule set (meaning those designed for a GM + players), it might help to watch a few vids. I can (of course!) recommend viewing the most popular vids on my site, which offer a lot of general advice.

@@GeekGamers01 In my opinion new ttrpg players who are really new like they don't know what ttrpg is or what is the role as a, player or a gm, I thought maybe watching and experiencing how it works makes it easy but I guess watching it enough tips and hearing/reading other peoples advice will help able to play solo it's not easy rather it's challenging. I hope I can be a good solo player enjoying my stories I create and be patience about. Wish me luck.

@@nicolejohntahup5901 Many of my vids demo actual play so you can see how I do things… that is useful to watch too. Bottom line is there is no right or wrong way as long as you are having fun with it.

Hi @nicolejohntahup5901 It looks like Harper’s Quest 2 might be a really good place to start. I’m an experienced role player and I still find the amount of options and resources a bit overwhelming! 😂 Geek Gamers has a great walkthrough.
