Googled it right as I was seeing this, couldn't find anything at all about it online. Hopefully somebody has a copy. Seems like it's sadly common for cartoons made based on real people to become lost

To me, it was ashamed to see Invasion America to end after just one season. I think that the idea of an animated dramatic series for Primetime was an excellent one. In my vision, I could see The WB producing a few more seasons of the show, to help determine the fate of the characters.

Who is the announcer of the "Dexter's Duplication Contest" promo? Dunno if that's Jeff Benett or Phil Hartman.

Phil Hartman died in May of 1998, so the announcer in question is Jeff Bennett (the VA for Dexter's Dad).

@@bugsbunny8133 and that voice sounds exactly like Dexters dad so you’re correct. Not sure why they would even say Phil Hartman though these promos though not aired until June were likely produced months priors before he was killed by his wife who than killed herself. And after his death they had the primary 1997-2000 voiceover be the one used for evenings replacing Phil Hartman until they got Harry Sheier to do evenings beginning in either late 1998/early 1999.

Do you have a Cartoon Network 1998 taping of Beetlejuice, The Addams Family, A Pup Named Scooby-Doo, Tom & Jerry Kids, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Yogi Bear, Top Cat and The Flintstones?

Funny how all those shows had powerhouse bumpers except for Alvin and the Chipmunks. I mean I know there were times when shows which they didn’t have permanent rights to and had a contract they would either renew it or let it lapse. Alvin and the Chipmunks was one of them because it aired on Nickelodeon before CN which could be why they never gave it any bumpers. Beetlejuice, Rocky and Bullwinkle and Underdog were also in that same category yet they had bumpers made for them. I guess maybe since it arrived on CN in February 1998 before they started rolling out show specific wbb/btts bumpers could by why they never made any. Only powerhouse bumpers that existed prior to March 2 1998 were the first person ones. What would be interesting to know is if at this time was it still only first person wbb/btts being used or were they starting to roll out the generics. Generics I know came no later than October 1998 because there’s a recording from that time that has them being used.

Alvin not having bumpers made also seems strange because it was a core show on CN’s morning lineup that you would think would have them.
