The Powerpuff Girls reboot is a perfect example of what you are saying, no I don’t necessarily hate the reboot like most people do I think somethings in it are good such as animation, character design, and the morals (most-times) but I never said the thing as a whole was good. It tried so hard to cater to the teenage audience when really it just loses touch with its roots and becomes insufferable and painful to watch if not cringeworthy and it really doesn’t try to adapt to the source material whatsoever, now I’m OK with trying to do something different because that’s what Cartoon Network has been for years creating something original and unique but you have to do it right and remember where the source material came from and the reboot pretty much fails epically in that regard.

Well The Powerpuff girls reboot is about to be in trouble right now because it's on a Sunday schedule as of now and if it's on a Sunday schedule, then that means that there's a possibility that it will get cancelled soon this year or maybe next year in 2018.

Karen Evans since PPG 2016 still seems to be popular and aired regularly outside the US, my guess is that it'll get one more season and then get cancelled next year.

The Powerpuff Girls reboot should be banned from TV. It's cringeworthy, painful to watch and completely inappropriate to viewers (both old & new). Also, I love how, unlike Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon is aware of some things and are picking up their feet and giving something the fans been wanting for a long time.

What "deep topics" are you referring to? Because the original did it better due to the team behind it having more respect for their work. This current version's just appealing to the lowest demographic. Tweens who use smartphones, meme humor and twerking because it's "cool" to them

Cartoon Network will always be my childhood show but their investment in certain shows is what's killing it for me. They have great shows but it seems that money is their only goal right now and they're going to get all the money they can till there's nothing left. I'm hoping new shows come in and take over but for now I'll watch reruns of old shows.

My four-year-old sisters hated Teen Titans Go after seeing the first episode. I'm not joking when they said: "It's too bright!!!" after seeing like five minutes. After that, I started seeing if CN had some other shows they could watch and I saw Ben 10, a show that I adored when I was younger. I put it on and felt my soul leave my body after realizing that *IT WAS NOT BEN 10!* Next, I got desperate and tried doing everything I could to find a good show to watch, so eventually, I put on Pokémon XY and we sat in silence for the rest of the day.

Like MrEnter said, Cartoon Network has never been closer to death's door then it is now, not to mention he said the reason why good cartoons like Young Justice and such is being cancelled because of toy business or something even though Cartoon Network is not a toy company. If this keeps up then there's a chance that Cartoon Network will be nothing but a shell of their former selves and the Cartoon Network we know will be gone and become nothing more but a memory of what it use to be and stuff.

Flop Nation I doubt that will happen. But I do think the creators of Infinity Train should take their show to Nick but, due to how badly they treated Harvey Beaks and how quickly they gave up on Sanjay & Craig and Breadwinners, Infinity Train, if taken to Nick, should just be a miniseries.

Unlike Disney or Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network doesn't really seem to know what the word "reboot" even means, as they're literally just bringing shows back based on their names and taking out every aspect that made the original good in favor of making it more like their other shows, which are mostly comedy and slice-of-life, and it doesn't work because the original shows were not made for that purpose. It doesn't help that the people in charge of CN seem to want to play things FAR too safe anymore and not take any risks by experimenting. Beyond Teen Titans Go, the other reboots get rather mediocre to low ratings, and that's primarily because even for those who didn't even watch the original shows, the new ones are just cut from the same cloth as all the other shows on the network while lacking any real identity of their own. Instead they are like identity thieves and use the identity of previous popular shows to gain popularity, while failing at it miserably.

Cloudy is pretty good. True it's unnecessary, but what they gave us is still pretty enjoyable. It doesn't tread on the original, just keeps to a specific part of it... the zany part.

Once Steven Universe is done and Adventure Time, what do CN have? I think they need to greenlit original ideas from fresh new creators. Infinity Train seemed like a great cartoon for CN. It had mystery and the main character is so likeable. If they greenlit it CN would get more views.

What bothers me is how CN treats original shows: Thundercats 2011, Beware the Batman, Green Lantern TAS, Young Justice, and Justice League Action all got very positive reviews but were not supported at all and were either given terrible time slots or pulled early.

Every modern network in a nutshell: Nickelodeon: A perfect network, holding one of the most popular and television changing cartoons of all time, SpongeBob. Disney Junior and Nick Jr: An excellent example to teach kids with shows, including lessons. Disney XD: It's better than CN, but a little below average. Cartoon Network: Absolutely garbage. No variety, no original content, and is full of "rad" cringe. The king of the trash can, full of parodied abominations they call "reboots". There's only the fewest of good shows, such as TAWOG.
