Correction: DC DID NOT DESIGN the Aston Martin Vantage. He only built the concept model which was then displayed at the Auto Show. The design came from Aston Martin itself.

In 2008 i had a Diwali edition Top Gear magazine that showcase a DC modified Fortuner & that one was super cool looking. So i don't know why his other designs look so odd. His Taarzan car is still iconic to this day & probably the only best design he did.

Hey , I just wanted to correct you in most humble way , DC designs was not involved designing the vantage but they built the prototype show vehicle for AM , the designs were provided by Aston Martin to DC , the designer was Henrik Fisker who who also designed db9, Z8 and then went on to make Fisker automotive.

I appreciate Dilip's designs. They might not be the best of its kind, but they show an aspiring Indian. Mustang might be a sports car but it is not Indian. Dilip could design a sports car but not manufacture it. He failed to do that and stop ridiculing failure. It is disappointing that instead of hiring Indian design companies, Indian automobile manufacturers buy foreign ones to improve design language. Grow our own brands, do not fall into buying dying foreign brands.

Probelm is there's not many Indian youths aspiring to be automobile designers in India. In a nation where only civil service, engineer, doctor or being a cricketer matters, there's very little to no scope for designing. The only other Indian designer at present is Pratap Bose.

As a student alumni from DYP-DC college pune, i can surely confirm he is a scammer ! The college had teachers with zero experience and tuition fee used to be 7L a year back 2011. Long story short, he deserved to be treatet like this.

Mere khyaal se bhai logo ko chahiye thi quality car jo Avanti thi hi nahi Same with nano Avanti 40lakh ki thi or us time le jab mustang aa chuki thi to log mustang ko jyada prefer krenge Looks ache hone se sports car thodi na achi hojegi

@@TeraMamaSuperman bro mustang was for 65L and Avanti was for 40L obviously for 65L DC would have made a better car than Avanti Same goes with nanao making world’s cheapest car was not easy too and for that price point you have to compromise Problem with Us Indians is we want a car like Mustangs with in price range of Avanti

Thanks to DC, jinke wajah se aap ko aaj hasi aa rahi hai, he tried to bring a revolution in designs of cars when India was on Ambassadors, Maruti 1000s and 800s and only because of his innovative thoughts he was a famous brand at that time and only because of him you are earning money now.
