I remember watching this video when it first came to youtube and was mesmerized by how fearless these women were. 9 years later in 2020, I'm finally getting my first longboard! I hope to one day carve the mountains the way these gals inspired me to back when I was 12!

I'm 64year old and my wife bought me my mid life crisis skate board and I still ride it. Just like carving it. I was ridings scence early 60s, still love it.

This has been my favorite longboarding video for so so long. Keep finding my way back to it and feeling a rush of nostalgia for a mountain I never skated, with girls I never met, in a style I’ve never skated! So so good

First time i saw this video when i was 13. So i decided to buy my first board and start skateboarding. Now I'm 20. That was the best choice in my whole life. Thank you, whoever you are

This is one of the nicest skateboarding videos ever and the tune and how is synchronized is beautiful. First time I watched it I was 41... I purchased a carver skateboard afterwards and enjoyed the feelings of carving without the risk of step hills (a smart thing at my age...) . Now I am 48 and still go for a ride from time to time (trying to lose some weight.. :-))

I live in Montreal (Canada). When the snow is gone, we have to fight our way through the potholes. Then when the city is almost finish patching them, here come the snow again.

I'll be 58 next month ( August) and I still love hitting up the hills and streets with my 46 inch Sector-9 Bamboo board and my Bones Ceramic Bearings , some smooth rides with sweet speeds .I'll never quit but one day I'll be older and feeble , so although one day I will have to stop - I won't be quitting until then. Keep active for as long as life allows it , just saying.

Cory Peltier sounds like you haven't crashed or jumped off your board yet.. Jumping off is a very stupid decision, don't get me wrong.. But I did it once because I didn't know how to slide.. I still haven't learned it yet.

***** I agree female soldiers are very brave but these women are too. Considering that they were sometimes probably exceeding speeds of 20km/h. That's pretty darn fast and falling off could result in serious injuries and death :P

If your following the rules you should be good but if there is a car going slower than you just go around it or just pace behind it until it merged for you

Im 18, and I've been riding since I was 11, but Im not nearly good enough to dance on my board like that (Sure its quite shorter than most of the ones in this video but one of the girls has my same deck). Going to practice more. This video is inspiring.
