Extraordinary car. Nonetheless, the infotaiment system feels a bit out of place… Not understandable in a car that expensive and of that tier🤷🏻♂️

Consider VW and the ID.3 software. All new, and bloody terrible, at least in the early days. If you are selling luxurious dependability maybe it is a wiser choice to go with a mature, older platform that has already had nearly every bug resolved already. The people this is targetted at are not the kind of people that tolerate a poor quality product.

@@stephen-boddy True. Though I think the BMW latest iDrive is pretty reliable, compared to the VW's latest in the new Golf etc Edit - if the black pack is aimed at "younger buyers" they should also offer a newer infotainment as part of that since a younger buyer might be more interested in that.

Thats because the dawn is actually based on the old 7 series and has not been updated yet. The only car that had an original chassis was the phantom but now all cars are using it like the new ghost and cullinan. Dawn and wraith are yet to be updated. They also still use the old v12 engines the 6.6 liter as opposed to the current 6.75 liter.

It's a car to be driven in, not to drive. If you do instead decide to drive it, enjoy the ride by yourself, it's always better in any car.

I appreciate these posher, more expensive cars will get the views (and money subsequently), but is the Carwow business model now way more focused on those?? I feel like the entertaining, easy-to-follow reviews on 'normal', non-performance cars are now a complete rarity. The latter is why I subscribed to this channel in the first place and it really stood out from the typical supercar KZfaqrs. Just curious.

When I had a Dawn, I didn't like the brake feel it was way too relaxed on first touch. You really need to press it very hard to get all the braking power. Then I learned to adapt my driving style with the car and break much sooner. The brakes are designed to slow you down in the smoothest way possible.

You don't know the speed limit of the road. The 40 zone started after he finished the brake test so there's nothing to indicate he broke any laws for the 0-60 or the brake test unless you have knowledge of this road.

Hey, that's a V12 we're talking about. As a matter of documenting the history of combustion engines, would you line up all recent modern V12 that have ever been produced, and also do a similar comparison with the in-line sixes. I believe some even have a hybrid to increase the overall power with clever efficiency. Great video btw, thanks.

I prefer a Lexus LC500 cabriolet over this. The LC feels more luxurious and has really no wind coming into the cabin - even at 230km/h.
