Many thanks @futureclassiquecars for lending us their Ferrari. Check them out on Instagram.
This is the all-new Ferrari 296 GTB - a plug-in hybrid supercar with a 3.0-litre V6 that combines with a 165hp electric motor to make 830hp and 740Nm of torque.
It’ll have no problem shooting you to over 205mph, and doing so by getting you to 60mph in just 2.9 seconds! But all that power doesn’t come cheap, with prices starting at around £240,000 - and that's before you start checking the options list!
But it's not just about the numbers; it's long, low, wide and purposeful and beautiful. See why Mat thinks this is the best Ferrari you can buy today!
But what do you think - if you were in the market for a supercar, would you be willing to consider the 296 GTB? Let us know in the comments!

Redundant steering wheel buttons are mostly in play. An owner isn’t going to fiddle with the hepatic controls once desired settings are made. It’s only an issue for road testers. Also, esoteric design should be expected in this class of car, and appreciated once the car is out of production for its uniqueness.

The only reason touchscreens were introduced was so we could have an interface which could change. If the buttons don't change, you don't need the compromises of touch surfaces. Buttons are not old-fashioned!!! They are instant, give physical feedback and you can find them without having to look at them and take your eyes off the road!!!

Awesome video as always, love the car!! I thought it was interesting that the car did better on the second take of the performance test...maybe it also has to do with the tires being warmer. @carwow and Matt please seriously consider including 100-200kph times and or 60-130mph times for cars like these. It’s a much more widely used test of speed by real car buyers. We don’t care about 0-200kph time!! We get a good indicator of that through the 1/4 mile! Other than that, another mega review! Thanks Matt

The only thing preventing me from buying any Ferrari, aside from the money, is the fact they are to stubborn when it come to installing a media screen. When I'm not driving, and enjoying the car for what it is, I'm sitting in it enjoying it for what it is, and would want a very good sound system which is not on Ferrari's must have list, but it is on mine.👍😎✌🗽 P.S. 9:58 TMI Matt! 🤦‍♂

Even with 830hp and being hybrid it still isn't as fast as the 911 Turbo S. How is there that no car ever can compete with it at the same horsepower range? What a masterpiece. Although this car is rear wheel drive and the Porsche is AWD, it still is down 180 HP. What an impressive car.

Of corse, this is a RWD car and the Turbo S is 4WD, it's like you compare the 911 Turbo S to the GT2RS(who is lighter and more powerfull than the Turbo S), we all know the Turbo S will be faster of the line but he will be smoked by the GT2RS and the 296GTB in a rolling race and in a circuit! 😉
