Cary Elwes Talks Season 3 Of Netflix's "Stranger Things"

It’s 1985 in Hawkins, Indiana, and summer's heating up. School’s out, there’s a brand new mall in town, and the Hawkins crew are on the cusp of adulthood. Romance blossoms and complicates the group’s dynamic, and they’ll have to figure out how to grow up without growing apart. Meanwhile, danger looms. When the town’s threatened by enemies old and new, Eleven and her friends are reminded that evil never ends; it evolves. Now they’ll have to band together to survive and remember that friendship is always stronger than fear. Cary Elwes paid BUILD a visit to chat about his role in season three of the hit Netflix series, "Stranger Things."

He has a small part on the show but if you're of a certain age like I am then you remember The Princess Bride, Glory, Robin Hood: Men In Tights, Dracula. This man made some of my favorite childhood movies. Salute.

For me first time I saw him was Days of Thunder. To think he was in Dracula directed by Coppola and co starred Winona.

I love Cary Elwes movies, I loved him in the Princess Bride, Twister, Saw, Dracula and many more. He is an amazing actor and I also love his accent

Not to typecast Cary, but as for him playing a superhero, he'd make a good Oliver Queen if you were going to do a "grizzled veteran Oliver Queen" take on the character. Like Affleck playing Batman: a little older, a lot wiser, still capable but looking to train his replacement.
