Bei dem Konzert stand fest, Rory trennte sich von Lou Martin und Rod ´de Ath. Die beste Besetzung die Rory Gallagher je hatte. RIP all members

Rory, he may be millions of miles away now but he'll always be in the middle of the hearts of the guitarists he's influenced. RIP Rory

As one of those guitarists Rory influenced, I can absolutely confirm this! Rest you gentle, sleep ye sound, Rory. You are dearly loved, and sorely missed.

Add those like me who just listen to this fantastic guitarist and musician, without being (perhaps) influenced, not in the same way as you, I mean. I miss him 🎶💙

Gerrymandering McAvoy on bass, Rodney Ath(sp?) drums and Lou Martin on keys. They were phenomenal!

I had the privilege to see him 4 times in the Ulster hall Belfast. He played with so much feeling and intensity. Just pure magic to see him play live. This and the live version of souped up Ford my 2 favourites. From 2 sides of his playing. One with so much soul and feeling an the other with so much power and intensity. Amazing musician and person.

There are so many really fantastic guitarplayer, but Rory will be always the Godfather of guitar. A million miles away but always in our hearts. We will never forget you and thank you for the best and most emotional concerts ever. I´ve seen dp, lz, rs, pf and so many others famous and fantastic combos, but no one could reach the intensity of your pure music and emotions.

Alot of players play the blues , in the style of this, the style of that , it's about the passion you bring forth from your voice, and guitar, how you can drag the band along with you , give the audience smiles and tears at the same time , a touch of something you just can't put your finger on but you know it's deep and spooky. .this was Rory Gallagher RIP
