Augustin, agronomist, and Jean-Michel Diatta, operating director of the Ecoparc in Casamance, explain to us their ecological project to preserve the primary forest, going hand in hand with a strong educational desire and awareness of the preservation of their environment, through internships at all levels, for schools, high schools, universities and scientific research departments. The Ecopark also offers accommodation facilities for visitors from all over the world, scientists, academics, ornithologists, but also tourists and nature lovers.
They make us visit a part of the primary forest which adjoins the ocean from the village of Diembering not far from the Casamance river.
