@@ForgetSomeday California is a beautiful state aswell. I’ve driven from Astoria Oregon to LA down the coast several times and it’s one of my favorite drives I’ve done. Northern Cali in the redwoods is just spectacular. I love the giant trees and the smells are so good!

Congratulations, you just routed the folks through every tourist trap in the state. Also, this loop is not open year-round. Call ahead to determine road conditions.

EVERY tourist trap? Wow... I do deserve a congratulations! The Cascade Loop is designed to showcase some great towns and attractions in Washington State, which we found to be both intriguing and scenic. I'm sorry you feel that these are all tourist traps. The beautiful vistas we experienced while on the drive are views we simply can't get out of our heads. If a strenuous hike near the stunning Cascade Mountains is now considered a "tourist trap", then consider me a 'tourist'... I'll take it. We had a wonderful time and I will continue to encourage people to visit and explore this beautiful region!
