Hey. We don´t really know how much Hp it has, because it don´t have them at 1000 pto rpm. I tested it some years ago and test guy said that when he pushed it to 900 rpm, he could feel the power :-) Easy 250+.

Makes it up because it has almost twice the horsepower than the Case - the MF has 226 horsepower, the Case only has 116 horsepower, and it still almost made it up the hill.

That Massey is a much bigger tractor. 2294 factory rating was only 130hp.

Massey man has the right tyres also. Not enough weight and grip with those wide ones on hills. Great for softer conditions though.

You guys are all full of it talking about things you know nothing about I just love the tractors all of them and I am a farmer and I own some I have been around some of them and some I never operated but still in these videos they are exactly how I would set them up .The wheels the tires the exhaust the whole thing I just love them all great channel!

@@RCiler Definitely true but that Massey looks like to have more weight than the Case and it definitely knew that baler was back there while making his pull. If the case switched to a more traditional tire he'd probably still have to have speed to pull that baler up that hill. But you're definitely not wrong.

@@boagrious101 The Case here only has 116 horsepower, compared to the Massey Ferguson's 226 horsepower. That's why the MF made it up the hill and the Case didn't - the MF has almost twice as much horsepower as the Case.

@@johnosullivan6439 I know the Massey has more horsepower for certain, but he also had the weight to get that power to the ground, it takes weight to move weight and if you don't have the weight to get all the power to the ground then you'll have to compensate with momentum instead. And floatation tires are not good enough traction for these balers like a traditional tire would be, which is what the Massey is sporting. Even with the Massey having a clear weight advantage you can see that it was still on the threshold of spinning out as he creeped it up the hill. So creeping up the hill with the Case was not an option even if it were pumping out 500hp.

You make a good point re the tires though - it's ridiculous to expect any tractor to work like this on flotation tires, surprised the Case got as far as it did

Yes. Only 116 horsepower compared to 226 horsepower in the Massey Ferguson. Laughing at the folks on here saying the Massey Ferguson is better than the Case - the Massey Ferguson has almost twice the horsepower, & of course cost twice as much as the Case did to buy new.
