Peter Haddock talked to Case equipment expert Brad Stemper at Conexpo 2023 about the impressive new Minotaur DL550, which can now be factory fitted with Leica Geosystems 3D machine control.
This also means customers will be able to benefit from the new xWatch Safety Solutions 3D collision avoidance system also launched at Conexpo and built into the Leica Geosystems MC1 tablet.
Officially launched in August 2022, Case describes the part dozer, part loader and 'All beast' product as:
"The 'First-of-its-kind' machine features an innovative chassis-integrated C-frame and six-way blade for true dozer performance, a heavy-duty bucket and compatibility with hundreds of attachments."
In this video, Brad talks about the versatility of the machine and the additional safety, productivity and efficiency gains when fitted with Leica Geosystems machine control.
Brad: ”This machine is a real workhorse on the job site with lots of functionality and power built into a very small footprint. All of this adds up to a machine that can do a full range of tasks, from fine grading with machine control to heavy lifting.
“Operators will also love the benefits of machine control with additional fuel savings and reduced wear and tear from fewer passes.”
It’s certainly an impressive combination.
