This woman right here is the reason I endured 12 IVF cycles and finally got pregnant! Love love that she shared her story. I have age related infertility like she did so needed more cycles to attempt to get a golden egg 🥚. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

@@Fanofbeauty01 Thanks Eshraq! Hey Alina, Yes, I also got a healthy baby boy and he is now one year old. I did PGTA testing like Larkin. I also used this same clinic.

The moral of the story is that persistance pays off! Well done, congratulations xx

so much true! It's about quality, not quantity! So happy for you! ❤ PGS (PGT-A) is the best thing you can do when close to 40. Don't lose time, money and insanity by trying to conceive as if you were in your 20's.

Great video with great information, except for the part about the Pgs testing. You can have a successful IVF treatment without it. But with higher age, they do insist on the Pgs testing.

Question: can a chromosomal normal embryo be genetically abnormal ?
@giftofthewild6665
@giftofthewild6665 11 ай бұрын
Yes. If they are only checking number of chromosomes (PGS) then there can still be smaller errors in the genome. PGD can test for single gene disorders (eg cystic fibrosis, sickle cell anaemia etc) but usually this is only done if the parents are carriers (or likely to be carriers) of such diseases.

PGT-A testing can give you absolutely wrong results. That test has so much limitations. The whole idea of the test is wrong. Nevertheless, centers recommend it and women feed that powerful industry of PGT-A testing.

I agree. There is a good false postive rate. Also risking the embroy well being in the process. I am in favour of attempting to transfer and let it play out. I feel that is more wise. Esp when you are making few embroy!

I disagree I’ve seen what happens when you don’t do PGT testing and you carry the baby for almost 5 months to find out it’s missing chromosomes 13 and you have to have an abortion.
@lah1667
@lah1667 Жыл бұрын
@@chotima0107 the miscarriage rate is lower with the genetic testing. The embryo can look fine but have unseen defects. I can't have a termination for religious reasons so it's better to test in advance.

It has risk and reward, I think the reward is more than the risk, imagine having miscarriages one after another or the worst case scenario having still birth due to chromosomal abnormality. Even if it had false positives or negative (study show it is around 5 %) the reward far greater than risk.

@@eshraqsalahuddin115I think its useful for some people (eg those with recurrent miscarriage) and disastrous for others (those with very low egg reserve but good egg quality).
