I still get questions about this old issue two years later regarding the fix specifics. I was able to locate the shop invoice and read that the main cause was a broken pin (number 29 in my case) in the connector to the electronic control module (ecm). Additionally the fuel sending unit was bad and was replaced. The shop technician spent 12 hours troubleshooting my root issues and even replaced the ecm itself (which turned out not to be bad) as part of the troubleshooting protocol.

My skid steer was in low power mode was driving back through a field hit a big pile of dirt, with the bucket engine bogged down and shut off and now it will not start.

What did you find out? Mine was throwing around 30 codes and it was the wiring harness. Then it was popping the instrument cluster fuse and it was a wire by the starter grounding on the engine block. That 1 was my fault where I made a butt connector repair years back and wire came exposed.

I am having similar problems. Was hoping you had an easy answer. Mine always starts but shows a code prior to starting and won't come out of limp mode. I've noticed that the glow plugs cycle when it;s going to work and run right. Guessing there's a wiring problem somewhere. 2013 SV300 1500 hours. I think the electrical component installers at the factory were careless or incompetent.

I know this is probably really late but anyways. What I noticed when you hit the power button, your supposed to get a clicking noise, this being the fuel pump. Every machine is different, but from my experience, when power is on before engine crank, there is a clicking noise. You might also get the glow plug light illuminated followed by a countdown. In the keyed variant, this just allows the engine to crank. I’m not sure about the keyless version if the solenoid clicking is for the starter, but has a protection feature disabling the starter if the fuel pump is not working. I don’t know much about trouble codes, and I could be way off from what the problem really is/was, just thought I’d share my experience. Let me know if that was the issue if you’ve got it fixed by now.

I'm having a very similar problem with my 2016 SV280. Just clicks in a couple different places, sometimes it'll just fire up and everything works fine till it sits overnight or a few days. Isn't the battery. I bought a new one for nothing. I'm hoping to tilt cab tomorrow and see something obvious but I doubt it

I have a question I have a TV380 and it runs great but as soon as it starts the stop light will come on and the machine won't move the lift works. The only fault code is 4745. Please sir help

Hi Curtis, I did get the TR 320 working properly. Had to have it trailered to the dealer and after much searching.....found out that an electrical connection to the main controller unit needed to be soldered and secured properly. Over $2k including transport to fix. Yikes....but she is working fine!

My 05 430 shut down while plowing now won’t crank. Lights work, found a 15a lockout (or whatever you call it again?) fuse blown, replaced- nothing .. Checked fuse again not blown. Battery is new, connections good. No clicks. LCD’s go dark when key in crank then says ACC when detected to run. It’s stuck in a neighbors driveway... any ideas?

Mine is doing almost the but unsure how to tilt the cab since I cant start it to raise the loader arms.

What was wrong mine is doing the same thing and the same codes are coming up

Sell it. I have one that has given me wiring trouble from day one. Two wiring harnesses and numerous services calls. I hate to bust your bubble but they are the worst machine made. Mines sitting behind the shop waiting on a new owner.bought a cat 289d. Won’t ever buy another brand. The cat is light years ahead of everyone else. You will have wiring trouble with the case from now on
