I don't own the 8450 anymore. If I remember from the ball through the loops and tensioners over the wheel then though the frame over the center frame tube then hole on twine arm bracket then into the twine arm tube to the tension clip and out the tube 6 inches. Always face wind direction when in field it can be a dirty job. Thanks for watching,

That field was 14 acres. I am sure you could if the demand is there. May be slow the first year or so, once you get known around an your equipment is in demand your golden. The monitor tells you how to form the bale,left-right and tells you the door is closed and tracks the twine. Thanks

We have owned this one since the early 90's. Been a great baler. I replaced a roller bearing and a couple of sprockets,chains,belts. The starter belts on starting roll will last about a 1000 bales. This one has a double twine arm. They will not bale wet hay. But they make a tight bale. This one is on ag dealer web site with Hub International and they asking 4500 Can dollars. I would bale 2 9ft windrows at 3-4 mph. I took the wind guards off and it baled much better. CaseIH has some parts for them but not all supported. Agco is the main supplier now since CIH is all New Holland. I traded it on CIH 455. The 8450 had 25-30 000 bale count. Thanks contact me anytime.

$14 500 new is what we paid. Lol. We did have some trouble with the twine cutting at the first but I welded a piece on the tube and was fine after that.

@@69druth could you explain what you welded on to fix the twine cutting issue

@@wyattgiven8664 I welded a piece of roll steel on the arm so it would hit harder. And there is a block on the arm cylinder bolt that changes the rotation. Quick fix drive a chunk of 1 in poly pipe over the end of the twine tube. My Mom was a Given we could be related.
