Can you do a video on Casimiros strategy when defending.. Casimiro is definitely not defending like most others. He is very good at reading the game and his tackling technique is on another level.

I have never underestimated Casemiro I have rated him even before he went to Porto when he was just starting to break into the first team he is brilliant he understands the game and he plays in my position I love defensive midfielders also I want to be a footballer one day as a defensive mid

I can't be too critical of casemiro because he has been really important this season for Madrid but he has also been very lucky not getting red carded in both legs against bayern and has been directly responsible for a feW goals this season because of horrible passing in front of defence and being poor in possession.

Like Vidal hes absolutely playing on the edge and yea in that game he went over it also Casemiro is at his best when he doesnt have to do all that. Modric and Kroos can and should to all of the work

Football Culture don't you think kovacic would be better? He's as good as casemiro as dmf in terms of defending and breaking play and has more confidence on the ball. All I'm saying is casemiro has been consistently singled out by many commentators as the weak link in the team during matches and in big matches little mistakes are extremely costly.

not sure. I think hes overall more talented. Casemiro I think is a better defender. The question is more, does Real really need another creativ mind? Its almost like Kroos and Modric are enough. It could actually be bad for the team if Kovacic would take possesions away from those two.

Casemiro isn't poor on the ball, everyone makes mistakes and bad passes. How many bad passes has ramos or varane or even modric make when under pressure. For the most part casemiro has great long and short passing he is strong and can run with the ball at times and has a great strike. I rate kovacic highly but he is too good on the ball to ever be a defensive midfielder and he seems like a natural sucessor to modric. Ive seen ramos give stupid pass from the back and then he has to give away a penalty or something for his own mistake. My point is casemiro is who allows modric and kroos to effectively control a game and of course he is gonna give away fouls his job recquires that. I would be more worried when we have a defensive mid that isnt getting booked.

I completely agree with you. He works a lot without the ball, that's another reason he is so unestimated. I think he was more important to real than Cristiano.
