The city of Caserta is located northeast of Naples in the Campania region of southern Italy.
It has a long history of resistance during the liberation of Italy from the fascists, so much so that it earned the gold medal for civil merit and the bronze medal for military valor for the sacrifices of its populations and for the activity in the partisan struggle during World War II.
Caserta is famous above all for the majestic palace built by King Charles of Bourbon starting in 1750 which welcomes thousands of Italian and foreign visitors every year eager to visit its luxurious rooms and Italian gardens.
In this video we will take a short walk through the streets of the center until we arrive in front of one of the entrances of the imposing Bourbon Palace.
