Facing suspension, Dawson (Monica Raymund) gets a hand from the same girl she saved through the procedures that landed her in front of the disciplinary board. When Casey lays his life on the line during an apartment fire, he may have unknowingly caught the break he was needing. If Voight is off work he shouldn't even have a gun on him, also if this is about Voight son driving a car drunk and causing a accident then his son SHOULD be arrested for drink driving and causing a accident, also Voight shoulldn't be letting his son free after what he did, it's called breaking the law.

At the same time, I’m surprised that Voight and Matt eventually got back onto somewhat of a good term later on into the series. In situations like this, kinda felt like Matt should’ve been allowed to also include a massive kick to Voight’s ball sack, I mean come on, its well deserved.

Because they wanted the actor for the spin off. 😄 He's a terrible cop, he actually murders and tortures people later on, he should still be in prison. In real life all his cases would be thrown out of court. If they wanted the actor so bad they should of had him be Hank's estranged twin brother or something. A good cop, bad cop situation. He ruins PD for me, he corrupts all the other characters too. I love that all the guys in Fire never truly trust him again, they know he's not a good cop.

No. Casey and firehouse 51 was called out to a car crash. Voight son was responsible when driving drunk. Casey was the only one seeing empty beer bottles in Justin's car before the evidence disappeared, covered up by Hank. Hank started to harass Casey when Casey stuck with the story and reported Justin.

Voight's son Justin caused a car crash by drunk driving and Voight covered up the evidence, but Casey saw Justin was drunk and saw empty beer cans in the car and reported him. Voight tried to bribe Casey not to testify but he wouldn't lie, so Voight threatened him, but that didn't work so Voight planted drugs in his house, that didn't work so Voight hired a hit man to kill Casey. That's when Voight was finally arrested, he's a terrible, corrupt cop.
