@@budgetwithlina haha I was on KZfaq when I got the notification. Sorry to hear it’s been going rough for you. And that you won’t have Mom for Mothers Day. But that just means a bigger hug when she gets back. 💕

I loooove questions! Yes, always ask! I will start by saying that I created a video where I explain more in depth what I do. For privacy reasons, I’m not too exact. But definitely go check it out if you want more details. I have added it to my description in this video. In general I will say, I work in the Communications/Media sector. And salaries vary widely in this field. As a friend, I will say there are two schools of thought. One says follow your passion and the money will come. The other says , look for a career that pays well, and find your passion in other ways. I bounce around between the two. I don’t know which is better advice. The smart thing to do is probably somewhere in the middle. You’re at that age to figure it out. There’s, I guess, a third school of thought. If we want to get a bit more philosophical. It’s the Japanese concept of ikigai. Finding your purpose or your sweet spot, by looking at 1) what you’re good at, 2) how you can make money, 3) what the world needs that you can provide. In theory, if you find the point where all three intersect, you’re good. I think I’m in my ikigai. But career choice is a very personal decision. So it’s totally up to you. Do you want to go for the money? For your passion? Or find something like an ikigai? No judgement here! No right or wrong answer totally up to you! I will add this tho. No amount of money is worth being miserable in life. So if you don’t find fulfillment through your job , definitely seek joy through other means (hobbies, volunteering, family etc). Very long winded response 😅 I hope it helped!
