Today we stop at the bank to do a massive coin cashing. Cashing in all of my quarters from my vending route! How much money did we make? Broke the coin counter!

Around the year 2005, I cashed in a huge hoard of quarters and wound up with a little over $8000. I had been saving quarters for 10 years. Moral: don't save pennies

I've used two coin counters in my life, both times I counted the money myself and both coin counters jipped me. One got me for $6 and the other got me for $9. I got my own small coin machine and roll it myself.

Do you do a cost breakdown of how much you make per machine. How much does it cost to stock them? Maintenance and upkeep?

You putting too many coins in the hopper bud. Also your supposed to shut the top while it’s counting the coins. That’s why it froze,and you’re lucky you never lost any money. I love the videos buddy. Keep the videos coming,love to the family. Stay safe 👍

Use to work with those machines, they are a pain and customers always mess them up by dumping crap into them.

I used to work for a store that had one and your right I consistently had to open it up and un jam it sometimes I would just give them whatever money they had compiled then shut the machine down till the end of my shift where I could focus more to the task, those sacagawea coins and the giant Eisenhower coins would stop this wheel that would spin and separate the various coins, also foreign coins would get spit back out to the customer where 50% of the time they would leave, it wouldn't be able to spit the Eisenhowers back tho these machines were from the late 90s I think they've been updated since then, when the store went belly up the manager said I could have all the foreign coins, almost half a pillowcase full,lastly I would do my laundry at this coin operated place the owner was a jerk and often wouldn't open the machines up when something went wrong so one day I did all my laundry with Canadian quarters and I had a ton surprisingly most of the machines took them. Thanks for saving me 30+ bux that week.

I do try to go through the coins as I receive them. I’ve pulled out a handful of error coins, but I’m sure I missed some stuff. I am not an expert by any means.

When I go to the coin machine I always go slow I think sometimes people always wanna go to fast. I was always told by the bank to go slow because I can break the machine I never new that I always go slow now

You were putting your coins in way too fast. You only want to put coins in when you can visibly see the coins actively rotating like water going down a drain. If you put them in on top of other coins that are not yet circulating, you are taking the chance of fouling the machine.
