A year late but I hope it helps. Because only best 5 out of all 7 cards is considered, in this case the Aces didn't matter as best 5(8910JQ) were already on the table.

The Cards on the board are a "Straight" = 8-9-10-J-Q And a Straight is better than a Pair of Aces. And because nobody influences the Straight with any cards it results in a Draw

it's a full house because full house is better than three of a kind no matter what cards are in play, it goes in order of what type of hand you have, and THEN what cards are in the hands, if you have a better hand, you win, if you have the same hand, then it is determined by the strength of the cards if you win or not

There's no such thing as 3 pair in poker. Its the best 5 card hand you can make, and 3 pair would require a 6 card hand. hope that helps

It always plays the best possible outcome. Even though you had Three of a kind with 6’s, straight is higher and therefore your hand is the straight. Since the board was 23456, all other players have also a straight regardless of their original hands (unless they made a better hand I.e 34567 straight or flush).

Ignasius Edward the best five cards for both players are those in the table, so in this case the cards on their hands won’t be picked for their 5-card choice.

Player 1 Wins!! Player one hand would read (Ad-As-2c-2d-Kd) and player two would read (Kc-Kd-10d-10c-As) the two pair of Aces beat the two pair of Kings. Think about 4:20 example, even though the 9-6 was higher than the 6-5 J is higher than 10 so player A won. You could also remember the 5:15 hand as well. Because the two Aces were higher than the two eights however, the three pair of nines value over the three pair of eights making player B having the best hand.

steven jon caswell Depends if this is part of the rules you want to play. Original poker rules it’s not necessary to use your hand, if the board has higher cards or such cases like a straight. Your 5 cards become the board regardless of what you have (unless you made higher with the use of your hand).

A straight is better than a pair so pairs don’t count for any player with a straight. It’s quite unlucky, but there’s nothing wrong. Listen to the statement she says at 6:05.
