i finally understand the video. she started at the top where she had many friends but the lower she got the friends started to disappear. at the lowest point only person left to pick her up was herself

Yes also, the "trust fall" widely used in theatre and dance is being used as a direct symbology for the content of the song. the videography is done in a way where the camera is angled upwards hardly showing the floor. I love the subtlety of the video. So sad it's not that popular.

This is one of the most beautifully conposed song videos ive ever seen! Its beyond my understanding how is this song so underrated. She starts dancing alone n meets lots of people and as she keeps falling people keep decreasing in number. It shows that she had believed lot of people and also had lot of special people coming and going. Lovers, friends etc but in the end when she fell she had nobody by her side n she picked herself up. It is to show u are your own rock in life. And the video beautifully ends. ❤️
