When installed in a casino, a gaming commission official has to sign off on it alongside a manager. Locks are placed on a little security cage which covers the write access ports on the board. If the casino ever wants access to it, they need to get the gaming peeps out to give them the key &/or oversee the removal of the security stickers. That work has again to be signed off by a manager & then the gaming official. The only way a rogue employee could ever rig a slot that intended for a licensed casino is to get to it before it leaves the factory.

@@robertprestonsr2453 Given the implications of machines being hacked, the players system is only on the casinos server. It links to the machines on the floor via read only access. In short, it's solely for accounting purposes, so the casino knows who's spending what, what denoms are doing well, what games are not being played, etc. From that, comps get determined. The machine itself is programmed in a way so that it's unable to determine what's been put in. So it does not have the ability to differentiate between free play, tickets or cash. The write access ports are locked down & only the gaming commission have the keys. On the machine side, there are very few things that a casino can do. In short, slots are not rigged. Casinos do not have the ability to make them go hot or cold or any of that other nonsense. Each spin is independent of the last. Which means the machine doesn't remember what came before or what's going to comes after. If the machine doesn't know, the casino sure as hell doesn't know. The machine arrives in the casino, the slot techs choose the RTP for each denomination & some other basic stuff & the machine is basically left alone to run it's course. Over it's lifetime (of around 10 million spins), that machine will have generated a fortune for the casino. The house always wins with every single slot, so there is no reason to 'rig' the slots. A crude analogy is that a slot is basically a gigantic raffle. They have (say) 10 million tickets. Each ticket is assigned a prize level (winner, closer, jackpot, line hit or whatever.). Every time you hit the button, a ticket number gets chosen (& then is removed from the available pool of selection going forward.) Once the ticket has been selected via the virtual reel, it then gets translated to the theatrics you end up seeing on the screen. It goes like this until all the spins have been made, the machine has a major system error which requires reset (in which case it starts back from spin 1 all over again) or the machine is removed from the floor to be replaced by another slot.

Any casino trying to rigged games so that only certain people win and everyone else loses is unacceptable. This shit has been going on at tribal casinos for a long time and they never get grilled for it, and you would think state casinos would be better about fair play. If they are so concerned about paying off winners than they shouldn’t be in the gambling business. It’s one thing to have a house advantage but it’s another for the house to cheat.

I told them it was because it doesnt appear to be the cards being drawn randomly and weird plays of some players winning over and over with less than 10 percent chance but always seem to get there in the end. if it can happen in real life in casinos what makes you all think online games isnt rigged specially when many of them is overseas with no oversight

We had a good one at horseshoe in Baltimore early on. On blackjack side bets ,players who knew the dealer would sit at the same table. Theyd put up the minimum $5 on both sides and if it hit the dealer would grab a $25 chip as he went to check the players bet and cover the $5 chip for a $30 total which would pay decent on the long shot hits. $900 on a triple match for example. Dudes were methodical, didnt overcook it and ran the scam for about a year. I think it was like 10 people involved, 3 dealers and about 7 players. I think they clipped em for about $1 million.

I’ve worked in casinos and it’s a bad place to try to steal with cameras on you and your pockets sewed shut. They wise to the cough and chip in the mouth too. Collusion with players is hard to pull off.
