Very good information on the CTX-5000 but I have a more detailed query, can I do the following programming on this model? - Activate the DSP with Ehannger and Reverb effect at the same time and also do the following with the Layer and the Split or it is only possible to do the programming below and not assign the DSP, or can I assign only one DSP for the whole keyboard ? - Layer activated on the right side with a layer 1 (029 GlaxiaEP) and layer 2 (016 Grand Piano Wide) - Then activate the SPLIT at the same time and have Layer activated on the left side with a layer 1 (113 NylonGtV) and layer 2 (046 Phaser E.Piano) In addition to being able to move the octaves to each of the 4 sounds individually, does this save it in a record bank? Has anyone every noticed that every time a good piano demo with a good musician is video recorded, that whoever is in charge of moving the cameras during those moments that are exciting the camera angle changes become crazy with power and start moving the camera wildly to try to make the moment more exciting and to try to take credit for the video instead of just leaving the camera angle just above the piano so people could see what is going on while the player is playing the piano ?? This happens EVERYWHERE. Why ?? Why do camera directors take over the moment ?? This happened even in the famous movie Saturday Night Fever where there is a famous dance routine by John Travolta and in the editing process, the director had cameras showing everything around the dancer and barely showed the dance routine that Travolta worked so hard learning. When Travolta saw the edit before the movie was released, he started to cry literally. Travolta finally convinced the director to re-edit the movie and just show the camera angles of him dancing with only a couple of camera angles with the camera not moving. Travolta was right because that uninterrupted dance scene became the most famous dance routine moment in movie history. My point is that if you work behind the cameras in a video shoot of anything, don't try to get in the way of the performance and ruin it with your bright ideas. I like the fact this range is so cheap.....good on you Casio......you need to work on those organ sounds a bit more ....the rhodes sounds great.....and it would be nice to see pitch and mod wheel on the next one.

The only good news I could gather from THIS video, is that sounds from the 80's cost only $450 on this CASIO, as opposed to spending $4,500 "back in the day" o.n a slew of other keyboards. Other than that, CASIO needs someone like ME on their team, to point them into some different marketing directions......
