Exactly, i got one for $80. there's nothing, NOTHING! in the price point that came close to it. Plus it uses a cheap 2032 battery that you can find everywhere, even in mom and pop shops.

Yes you are correct that Casio doesn't have to many options for step tracking and Bluetooth. It feels like unpolished product for now but great step in the right direction! My tought is that for $150 you can find tons of better options from Casio. I would honestly run with this on my wrist WS2000H-1AV :) for a fraction of the price.

@@CosmicLottery sorry bro this is just my opinion and not to argue. About the long wait for it to delete the time. Samsung watches uses a very powerful cpu almost like apple watches. Of course they will be faster almost instantenous. But they are very very power hungry cpu. They drain batteries very fast. Which is why u have to charge them every 2 or 3 days. Neither can last for at least a week. But for Casio it is different. They use low power cpu that drains less power and a bit slower but it does it job and make sure the battery can last way way longer than Samsung's and Apple's. I will take longer battery life that easily REPLACEABLE for a slower cpu than a watch that i have to charge very often that are NOT REPLACEABLE for a 1 or 2 seconds difference in performance. About reflectiveness of the display. I have this model and i have been using it for 6momths now. I never had any issue with the display being reflective and hard to read. I dont know how you are using it or maybe you just work in a place that shines light like 10suns then its not readable. Every single people using this model that i have met,which is a lot of people, never complained about the display at all. It is a new technology but it works really well. Way better than the one you was wearing during the video.

I will agree with you that in broad daylight 99.9 % of G-shocks are readable, exception being the rangeman GW9400 -3 which is impossible to read at any light. Watches should be readable in any light condition which is not true for this one. If you have a chance please try on a G-9010-1D and let me know what your thoughts are about that display. :)

Did you take a look at the G-lide series‽ GBX100-1 looks like a perfect match for your lifestyle especially with the tide graph and having the other features you wished for and only marginally more expensive?

@@CosmicLottery oh yeah I have it as well, unfortunately I have calibrated and made sure the area I’m in is always up to date and I have went to see a low tide and it was no were close to what it was lol but it’s still a really nice looking watch. My favorite thing about the gbd is that when you start your tracking, I’m able to drop pins along my maps from the MOVE app when I save the travel of some of my fish if spots and it works well offshore. It even keeps track of my boat speed which is nice since I have an outboard and no speedometer. But I mean for how much the watches are I can’t complain at all lol one day I’ll get the big brother but at the moment I like this one for more and most of the others too. But the "one big problem" you are referring to in your video, is about the visibility/reflections of the display, right?? And yes...... I can live with that (because I don't see the problem). I repeat that the main defect for me, is the slowness to pair the watch with the phone.......

@@ildiranxha In my case, with the "g shock move" application, the watch takes too long to pair with my phone. With all the correct parameters and being next to each other. Sometimes I have to try several times in a row. Until the expected moment arrives, and it appears on the screen: "connected". It doesn't seem normal to me....

Hehe i dont think CASIO will appreciate you caling out their PROTREK line! I mean ABC sensor, solar charging, watetproof, ruged, stulish and readable from a mile. Its a class above.

You shouldn't be getting this message at all when using stopwatch function. Just press start, stop, then 'Lap' button to reset. Maybe you mean the 'Workout' screen?

The watch is only a sensor and all the heavy lifting for calculations is done by the app (your smartphone basically). I dont think you will regret buying it for the price but I will say keep your expectations low.

Only steps will still count without using a smart phone.

Hi, you will need to install the G-shock move app first and connect with it. Connecting straight with phone its not possible.
