how is possible someone dislike Watch Geek reviews/setups. this guy is just amazing to explain how watches works.

I've had this watch w the green strap for 6 months. I work for as a mechanic and have banged this watch up. Covered it in black grime, oil, tire bead lubes, dunked it in water, hit it with tire bars and other tools... just plain beat the shit out of it lol when I get home and take a shower, it looks just the way it did when it came out of the tin. Incredibly durable, functions are on point, and I'd recommend it to anyone. I bought 3 more and gave them to my best men at my wedding.

I was given this watch today as an early Christmas present, and I was absolutely baffled on how to set it up. This video helped SO much, thank you very much! Fantastic watch, my new favorite daily driver, for sure.

I have to send you a big thank you. I know this isn't a new video but a few days ago I received my GG-1000-1A3DR, looked at the instruction book and thought, no way ! Then sat with the watch, put your video on the TV, went through each setting up point and everything went smoothly. I really appreciate the work you are doing. This is my second G-Shock in a few months on top of all my divers and I'm beginning to think the G-Shocks are even more addictive than the Seiko's!

I have wanted this watch for some time now and really struggled with the size. I have done exhaustive research and have read countless positive comments but I still struggled with the size as I to do not the biggest wrists. I fineally made the purchase from a local jewlry store (because I have also learned more and more in my research how the fakes are really good at being undectable. I can say less than 24 hours of owning it that I LOVE this watch. Your video not only help with the set up but made me feel even better about my decision to purchase.

Great video thinking of getting one my self. Just wanted to mention though, there are 3 other ways to tell if you've purchased a fake GG 1000. 1st the top of the # 6 on the real GG meets the function wheel right @ the tip, on a fake one there's a bigger gap in between the 6 & the wheel. 2nd, the function wheel itself on the real GG is raised or has a 3D effect almost, where as on the fake one the function wheel is barley raised @ all. Finally, the straight line that goes across the top digital display right under the time is directly on the lcd under the glass. On the fake GG the line is painted on the glass above the lcd. Hope this helps others looking to purchase this model on websites such as ebay.

Just bought it this year. Last June, I had rough military training,consist of constant swim crawling and dive over muddy swamp water,besides also crawling over rough land which full of sand and tiny stone plus lot of mud, then also I had been physical training over sea, all these rough exercises I do it with this watch, just so fit and steadily seat to my wrist with no any problem over band,glass or bezel,just minor scratch guess from scratching during crawl, In my opinion as medical personnel,for analog part of the watch,we can easily look the second hand as it helpful for me to count pulse,beside also easily to look its time due to there are clear 12,3,6,9 indices,for digital part Im easily to look the time & date as well as show on screen just for improvement or suggestion, to add on another screen for dates (so that can easily direct read the dates aside on want to press the adjust button), Then,I am a muslim,to look for Qibla for praying,we just find 293 degree,so this watch just so much helpful to me in finding it,during tht rough training we train everywhere and sometimes difficult to find the direction of Qibla due to no internet or phone that can navigate it,so this watch just so helpful for that. Thats what i found it this watch function so much,just for suggestions/improvement,(just keeping its current look) i think to add on another screen for showing dates, and to put solar powered & Bluetooth connection pr Multiband Connection..thats all.. So as for now,this watch so much recommended to be use for any person in rough and tough situation 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

I purchased the casio GG 1000. Mudmaster. What a great tutorial what an awesome watch the twin sensor the temperature and the Compass. Awesome watch. Collect watches I have over 72 watches. I have rolex, tag, omega, Oris. I really really like all of my watches but this watch here the reason I liked this watch is because it's durable it has a light on it has so many different countries timezones Time zones I don't use them but they're there if I need it too. This guy is very knowledgeable of the watch and the function of this beautiful time piece. He is very good one of the best. Makes it clear and very very understandable. For shore this is the best and complete explanations of this watch! You have note 10+! I had follow all the instructions and I had set my watch accordingly. I have gg1000-1aer since couple of days. First i bought model 1a8er, but i couldn't get used with the negative screen and after 1 week i returned it for 1aer. It's a very nice watch with all necessary instruments on it. I payed 273 Euro on it. For the last 2.5 years i had was a smartwatch and i had to charge it every 2 day, couldn't get it into salty sea water and stuff. Also I like to wear 24 hours/day the watch. So I came back to old school watches and very happy. Conclusion: nice watch, nice tutorial!

I got this exact model for $210 today, locally. Had no idea until I went to checkout and the lady said it's on sale. The price tag on it and all the color schemes of this model was $350 also. Lucky me!! 40% off!!! The GG1000's seem to be $200-$320 everywhere online though. Also, thanks you for this video. Mine was setup mostly how I wanted it out of the box. But this will always be my reference video for using all the sweet features of this watch. This is my first "expensive" watch. As in expensive for me haha. Went out looking to spend the retail price because I've wanted one of these for so long.

I found the GWG too expensive and is like "too much" in terms of how it looks. The GG looks better.

For the durability; I bought mine on December of 2018, and as of 16/04/2020, NOT A SINGLE VISIBLE SCRATCH ANYWHERE ! I have the Olive Green one. And the metal ring you mention is almost as shiny as the day I bought it (90% shine retained easy !).

I find that the negative display with yellow numbers that Casio does is very easy to read in all light conditions, as good as positive ones. It’s my favorite type of Casio display, negative with yellow numbers

I just got a GG1000-1A, and this video was a helluva lot easy to set the watch up with than the manual....

I bought one. I have a small wrist too. I love this watch. I purchased it in a Military Exchange.It doesn't have a red second hand, or the red wring around the Compass Button. Mine has a white second hand and a black ring around the Compass Button.

I got both mudmaster and had to return to u r tutorial, thank you so much

Thanks for your comprehensive revue , i had it in mind to purchase a gg1000 and your review sealed the deal. After it arrived i thought i had been sold a dummy, but careful following of your instructions and bingo !!!! Perfection , the watch is so comfortable on my wrist that i forgot to take it off and wore it to bed something i have not done since receiving my first wrist watch aged about 8 or 9 years old, i am now in my 70s. I love this watch and being analogue and on the large side it is the only watch i own that i can read without my spectacles on.
