What a cool technology to have. Personally, Multi band 6 support isn't a deal breaker for me but then im amazed with all these features packed in that one small square. Wow

It sure is. I know it's not a USP for Indians because internal quartz crystal is good enough with a 20-30 secs error per month but someone like me who delves into tech in depth I find it fascinating.

I've had a Casio Lineage for several years. Easily the best watch I've ever owned, and as close to a perfect watch for me as any available. Some locations in the US can have spotty radio reception of the signal, and some parts of the world don't receive the signal, but there are some simple ways to improve it, as well as phone apps that allow syncing the watch to atomic time. Watches with this tech are also very affordable. Highly recommended.

Thank you, Suresh 😊 Form what I read, there's one in development but I doubt it will be in the frequency range that the G-shocks are designed to receive.

Awesome presentation man, thank you! Question for anyone, can someone transmit a signal and find out that you recieved it? Like to find where you are for environmental emergencies if all you had was a mutiband watch?

That won't be possible with Multiband because the module only houses the receiver and not a transmitter unlike mobile phones. It's like your radio receiver - only receives the atomic time signal broadcasted by the stations.

Quite informative video.. To each their own.. I can’t justify the price (for the multiband feature) and I can live with a few seconds of drift every month ! Also, multiband being available only on a few models may not help those of us having many Casios (who’d like to wear a different watch everyday) !

Should I leave R.EL on the screen of g shock solar multi band 6? I pushed and held down the light button on top right. R.EL now appears under DST. Not sure if it helps the watch or not. Any thoughts? Thank you.

They aren't. Only the full metal squares sold in India have it

@@Ram-xn2ml yes, he sent a pic of all the LCD segments enabled and that's what he was referring to. All Squares have that but it's only enabled for the ones that have Multiband 6

I know this is out of place but the Casio took the sailfish from duro on their recent releases of the 107d line of watches due to some licensing crap 😢 i mean what the hell !!
