Thank you for your review...I just bought this exact watch and will test it as well. Very sad to hear about the inaccuracy of the step counter as this was the main reason for buying it. p.s.- I also bought the exact same G Shock that you have there, just waiting for it to be delivered.

At the end of the day Divide your StepCount by 1.55x and you will get your actual StepCount (there will be around 5% error) . I actually ended up using this watch as my main watch as it's much better in other functions that the Gschock gbd200

Without personal stride length being manually input into the watch i wonder if the step count difference could be it being coded as a womens watch VS the Gshock being "mens"

Casio now has WS B1000 model which has got more accurate stepcounter

I wear the f91 and the a1000, thinking about this one as i also use a pedometer religiously, how do you like it relative to the WS B1000?

I like this actually better even tho it isn't as accurate. Don't like the look that much of that other one 😂
