Just got this Casio Oceanus T200 and it’s awesome. Here is some thoughts and size comparison to the Casio Duro and Seiko Sarb033.

I love your take on this, lol. I just got the black version, it is absolutely my favorite watch right now. Love that SARB too, I have a good Seiko collection myself. Love all of them.

The Casio Oceanus is a most awesome watch that gets no love or recognition ! For the price point it is chock full of options that other watches just cannot get close to , my only wish is that I could find them in retail stores locally to me ( Chicagoland area ) my advice is to get one , heck get two ! Trust me you will not be disappointed !

It was interesting to see this next to the Duro, which I do have. By the way, you can put a sapphire crystal on the Duro for cheap. The crystal is about $20 from AliExpress (for a basic one with no AR), and it's a really fun upgrade. I underestimated the difference in the watch's appearance from the sapphire (obviously you get excellent scratch resistance). Anyway I'm thinking of the T200 myself now. Torn between the blue which you have and the new green (3AJF). Really nice watches.

The Oceanus S100 in Titanium and the Oceanus T200 in stainless steel and with Bluetooth are the most understated technology filled watches out there. Literally set and forget with solar charging and perpetual calendar, you need never adjust it ever again unless you change time zones. There are functions to exactly align the hands to the markers, adjust daylight saving time, and generally mess with the settings if you want to, but you never have to. Both models are bargains for what you are getting, premium materials and finishing, superb accuracy, and looks that are acceptable anywhere.

Exactly that. I have been collecting watches for many years and own mostly mechanical watches that are in a different price range. However, my recently purchased T200 is my absolute favorite, I love it. The workmanship and technical perfection for the price is unbeatable.

Its a really nice watch, really well finished too. Bracelet is also really good, reminds me of the Seiko Sarx045 a bit. The Solar quartz mechanism in the Casio is more practical and the price, while expensive for a Casio, is half that of a SARX.

Unless I’m missing something the band on that version is stainless steel, not titanium. The S100 has a TI carbide bracelet

You're right, however, I believe there is some kind of titanium "treatment" to the stainless steel, whatever that means. Though I could be wrong.

Awesome review. I've been eyeing a Oceanus 5000; it's going for $,1800 from the few places I've searched. Is it worth the purchase? Also, thanks again for your review; you are a comedian.

Personally, I think the Oceanus 5000 looks like an amazing watch and I would definitely get one if I was in the market for a watch in that price range. I've never owned one though so I can't fully say, but if the T200 is any indication, it'll be a banger.
