The person who figured this out is a genius. The WS 1700 looks bigger than many G-Shock models, and is so distinct. As an average user I wouldn't have imagined that the module is the same size as the Casio Royale.

This is such a cool watch! I'd not seen this one before. Apart from being a KZfaqr, I'm also an astronomer and astronomy magazine editor-and watch lover, to boot! As such, I'm always on the lookout for new and interesting moonphase watches. I love Casios, so this one's a must buy for me. Enjoy the holiday!

As soon as I saw the WS1700 I wondered if it would fit in your cases. Thank you so much for confirming that it does. Massive upgrade in water resistance and in looks. You're gonna have to add a new module number to the back plate. 😊 Great job and video.
