Scale: amzn.to/2VtxxpI
Using the scale:
Measure the weight of your bowl first then add your powder lightener and subtract the weight of the bowl from your lightener . For Example if the bowl weighs 1.oz the powder weighs 3.oz the scale should say 4.oz but you subtract 1.oz (the weight of the bowl) to get your proper measurement of lightener. Then you will double the amount of developer adding 6.oz (double the amount of lightener) and your final weight will be 10.oz ( including the weight of the bowl). I hope this helps :P

When you put the bowl on the scale, click tare. It takes the weight of the bowl off for you so you don't need to subtract when you're measuring!

Also i think the scale may have messed up because you have it on a towel. Try putting it in a hard surface. That might help

Cassandra Olivia I had a similar problem with my scale, but there are plastic tabs underneath where the battery goes they have to be pulled, if not they offset the weight. Hope this is helpful!

It looks so amazing and healthy! I live in the UK, in one of the whitest parts of England so even though I don’t have many black clients, I’d love to know as much as possible so that I can give the best service for healthy natural hair. I hate the idea that our melanin blessed beauties can’t find a salon in my city that can suit their needs! I remember seeing one person use a flat iron over 9-10 times per hair piece! Your videos have been a huuuuuuge help!

I think it is because the scale isn't on a hard surface! Mine did that on carpet until i put it on the counter!

Love the color! Btw: try placing your scale on a flat, level surface to calibrate it. Make sure that your tray with the towel are level and see if that helps. Just a suggestion. Blessings and stay safe. ❤️👍🏾

The issue withe scale is that it is on an unbalanced surface. Being on top of that towel allows for too much wiggle room for the scale. If the surface the scale is on shifts even slightly your reading will adjust. Put your scale on a flat surface with nothing under it.

When you turn the scale one sit the bowl on the scale then ouch tare, that will zero out the scale while the bowl is on it. This way you can get a more accurate reading, when I first started using scales I was all kind of confused haha

try to put the scale on a surface that doesn’t move like a table or something I think the problem was that and the towel under it and when u put the mixing bowl there’s usually a tare button that brings back the screen to 0 ounces and u can put a the amount of developer u want.. great job ♥️

I love it!! I used to dye my hair this color in high school!! Then a week later all the other girls started doing it 🙄 so I switched to honey blonde. Been natural since 2006 so I’ll just stick to colored weaves for a lil razzle dazzle ✨ lol

You can tell this style is one that will age well. I like when it is a little less whispy and light to start. Because as it gets older, youll get volume etc and itll stay moisturized with no added product
