Sweetheart did you actually watch that scene of her and Nate walking in the hallway together? I did, and she didn’t even look happy….she looked bored, and even upset….she didn’t look happy, or proud. To me, it seems like it’s not even Nate that she wanted, she just wants someone to love her and unfortunately Nate kind of did that, but he’s abusive and manipulative and Cassie just hasn’t experienced his true behavior for herself yet. You wanna say that she never apologized, or took accountability for her actions but considering that that’s something she needs to be taught, and she’s also a teenager in high school…..wouldn’t it make sense for her parents to teach her that? Suze as her mother is supposed to teach Cassie right from wrong, and she’s supposed to be a mother to her, and unfortunately the only time we ever saw that actual mother-daughter bond was in Season 1 when they were going to a family party and Cassie was feeling insecure about her body, and Suze told her that she’s perfect and when Cassie got pregnant and needed and abortion. Cassie does need to take accountability 100%, but she also needs to be taught how to do that, and how to apologize for her actions…..that’s something that her own mother needs to teach her as a parent. Plus did it ever occur to you that she couldn’t do it, because other than Maddy and Kat sometimes….Cassie has never experienced a loving and positive relationship with any women? Her mother is an alcoholic who gives 0 shits about her, and her own little sister hates her for something that’s out of Cassie’s control….So did it ever occur to you, that Cassie couldn’t apologize because of that reason? That she has never experienced love and positivity from a woman within her own home, and family which makes it hard for her to have female friendships? Think about all of that. Obviously Cassie was in the wrong, but think about everything I said…….

It was well demonstrated in the scene where she's all dressed in pink and gives Maddy a superior look as if to say "I beat you, I'm better than you". And the fact that Cassie never apologized and instead insulted her in the play speaks volumes about her quality as a human being.
