Rumor is that she recieved WAY more than the $30 mil. that was initially on the table. In order for her to have accepted that settlement, it was likely in closer to $100 mil. Nobody knows what the final settlement amount was, but I am happy for her. I hope this money gives her some insulation against whatever threats (like paying security and keeping her circle incredibly tight) I'm sure are still out for her as we speak.

i've never liked puffy and i've always thought he was a "glammer hog" standing tall on the shoulders of other, much more talented, people. that said, i was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt mostly because no real evidence has been produced and the memory of what happened to Johnny Depp is still fresh in my mind. i'm not down for a witch hunt without some solid proof lol now that this video has been made public, and you can see puffy in the moment with his violent behaviour, i'm much more inclined to believe all the stories.

And can I just add to what Cassie's friend stated. She DID in fact speak up. I remember seeing her interview on TV speaking up. Not just on the subject of DV but also sticking up for her friend Cassie. And even then, it was dangerous for her to speak up because people were either getting harmed or killed. And she STILL spoke up. That's a good friend. And Cassie is not only lucky to be alive, but to have real people around her that love her and care about her. BOTH women are survivors.

People will often ask a woman why she didn't leave… It's one of the most offensive questions you could possibly ask. Maybe ask why the abuser was abusing instead. Maybe consider that for many people when they try to leave they are threatened or worse. For me when I left I was stalked, this person went after my friends, this person made my life a living hell. I am lucky to still be here right now to leave this comment. And don't fool yourself. If they do it once they will do it again and it will only get worse. What started off as being pushed around lead to a g😱un in my face... it's no joke. There needs to be more open conversation about this topic and without stigma and shame. And anyone who thinks they are above something like this happening to you, you might want to think again. This happens to people from ALL walks of life. That rich lawyer, that fancy doctor, the people who look like they have everything together. It's not always what you would think it looks like. The more we talk about it, the more we remove the stigma, the more we will defeat the problem. To my fellow survivors, big hugs and lots of love. You are worth more than what happened to you ❤️

As far as DV allegations and law suits go, my message would not be "believe" nor "do not believe". My message would simply be; take it seriously, take your time and wait till more facts and clear cut evidence come out. This is exactly how things played out in this particular case. I wasn't too eager to believe nor discredit her until the undeniable truth came out.

A DV abuser breaks the victim to believing they have NO WORTH and DESERVED WHAT HAPPENED. It takes YEARS to overcome that...sometimes never, so to say you should say something WHEN it hapened is insane!I was SA and Abused in the 80's and never said anything. I have only recently in the ladt years come out with what happened to me.

As a survivor of DV myself suffering weekly sometimes daily attacks that almost all included NFS(non-fatal strangulation) the PTSD is brutal and neverending. The amount of courage and strength it takes to get out of the relationship is unreal and can often be deadly. Leaving is the most dangerous part of DV nightmares and needs to be done carefully. I'm not in the public eye in any way and being told by local LE they feared my only way out was death due to escalation of the DV, getting out alive took planning. Anyone attacking a victim of DV or their friends and loved ones etc with the victim blaming BS or questioning why she stayed or why no one helped her sooner needs to be thankful that they do not have any firsthand experience dealing with DV or trying to escape from DV. Anyone choosing to make idiotic uneducated statements against Cassie and/or her friends and support should count their blessings that they never had to experience DV and instead of the disturbing victim blaming comments towards her and her circle of support should use the phone in their hands to get educated instead of victim blaming, with unlimited access to learning in everyone's hands these days stupidity is a choice. Believe me her and her true loved ones have already been through enough to get to the point they're at now, victim blaming is disgusting and blaming a victim is a clear sign that you are part of the problem not the solution.

@@Mz_AKA_1908 thank you very much its definitely a different kind of journey with no shortage of triggers. Seeing this case itself has been a trigger in unexpected ways. I'm blessed to be able to attempt to recover heal and find balance in life again in private. My heart hurts for her and her family and loved ones her circle of support for going through such a personal hell in the public eye. Even more disturbing has been seeing the victim of DV and their support circle be attacked and further victimized on such a large scale in the public eye as if it's normal and acceptable. When society is ok with victim blaming and further attacking victims in such a public way on such a huge scale society becomes a huge red flag itself.

I want Kims case open because alot of the specs to the case dont make sense and the fact that corey gamble was at kims house when she died,Its dispicable. You should look at BJ investigates, I do believe that more will come out, Gene never lied about what he said. We need to canceled all these celebs that are supporting him. Gonna make a prediction, I think Diddy is a lot more powerful then ppl want to believe and despite that the Cassie video only really shows his true character and proves Cassie's claims, but other then that he gets in no trouble. I believe that Diddy has been preparing for this day for the last 25 yrs which is why he had those parties so he could implicate as many high up ppl in his dirt and have horrible dirt on high up ppl. It never goes well for someone in power, there's always someone gunning for u. Diddy has been somewhat smart and I believe they r gonna back off or they may not have anything to build a case, which was why this video was leaked so if Diddy doesn't get arrested at least ppl get to witness his true character. I don't think Diddy gets arrested or faces any charges solely based on the big name ppl he has videos of doing the same things and being a willing participant in his cult parties.

If he gets away with this mess i am sure there will be hell to pay! This is wieghing so heavy on me because i went through the same thing with my ex and even tho its been 23 years i still suffer from horrible anxiety , PTSD , and chronic pain from the injuries i suffered , 10 staples in the back of my head , broke my wrist in two , broke every bone in my foot , and a healthy dose of depression.... this has got to stop!!

Diddy tweeted about the vid and deleted it right away. Saying don't act like ya'll BDs don't do the same thing (baby's daddies.) His Son King did too, saying something like why bring it up now when it was settled. Ms. Lowdown posted a video showing the tweets. Also, the statute of limitations for kidnapping is 10 years. The video clearly shows her trying to escape and being held against her will.

Exactly. I know a bit about being abused, and I understand why people stay despite the hell they go through. I understand also why people shut up, when their loved ones are threatened. Don't listen to those who only blame. Unless they are in a certain situation, they will never understand.
