Best scouse band since the Beatles….love em

MY CAST STORY When CAST played Cardiff last year I took my son who had never heard of them. We stayed in a hotel, nice father son thing.After the gig we hit the pub, then went back to the venue as the tour bus was still there. The support band told me they were round the back, so we took a look, no security, so we went up the stairs, down a corridor, and walked into their post-gig room. They couldn't have been friendlier, a rude thing to do, but they chatted with us, let me get some photos with them, and basically made my night. I love CAST, always have, I've met some big stars in my time, but John was the only one I got tongue tied with- but he was still generous of spirit. I will cherish the memory and photos 'till I die. How they are not one one of the biggest bands on the planet is beyond me, but if they were, I'd never have got to meet them. Genuinely great fellas, my twenty year old son was much cooler than me because he didn't know them from Adam! So that's my CAST story. Oh yea, the gig was great, and the new album is almost worn out in my car. This song is phenomenal. They have no idea what they mean to us.

Absolutely fecking love this song

This song has got me through root canal treatment on a very sensitive tooth. It's right up there with classic Cast as far as I'm concerned.

Amazing band. Been with them since the 90s sitting in a van as an apprentice. Soundtrack to the best years of my life.

WOW ... That's gotta be up there with one of the best songs JP as ever written...I don't think there's any other band who could return after 13 years and for me nail the most perfect album "Troubled Times" for a comeback album...Can't wait for the new album after listening to this track and "baby blue eyes" it's looking like The new album is gonna be another belter, can't wait, just hope it's out before I see them

Skins guitar parts on this are class. That long flanger sounding thing at the start is cool, love the chorus riff as well.
