I visited Imam Stores in Dec 23 based on your review Madam. My experience has been very good. Bought dosai kallu, kadais, Aapam chatti, , sandwich grill pan, omlette pan , all very good Mam. Thank you . I also bought a kalchatti. Very reasonable prices. Recommend wooden handles for any pan with handle. Thank you Imambhai

That’s a nice trip Gita, I like to watch you go out and shop. You make your own non stick surface by using the pans. Cooking tomatoes the acid will ruin the cured coating. Best cooked in stainless steel. He has a great collection.

Gita ji small doubt which kadai is best for deep frying like for fryms papads etc. Can we scrape the cast iron kadai after using it for frying with steel scrub to remove the grease.

yes you can wash with scrubber and dishwash,. I prefer cast iron for all cooking

You are an English teacher but I think I am learning bits of Tamil from these videos 😅 I love cooking with cast iron. What is the name of the tool for cutting vegetables? I have that paniyaram pan. I first bought a silicone one, and it was non-stick and I liked it for the zero oil, but it wasn't worth it because nothing browns and crisps in silicone. I have returned to my cast iron pan.
