Hi Maria Thanks for your feedback I’ve just been there yesterday 22.08.2018 and as a romanian I’m truly disappointed about this castle especially if we talk about the inside part of it. Really bad organised starting with the queueing and ending with the absolute no sense of the elevator with led technology.. really ??? no stories about Dracula whatsoever.. I’m so sorry about all those people who are visiting the castle hoping to see the house of Dracula 🧛‍♂️ or anything related to him.. there is nothing like that ..no stories no fun I have to place this castle on the list of the most unpleasant places I’ve ever been. hope the situation will improve soon.. please check Peles Castle been there twice and always loved it. Peace ✌🏼

From what I know, the real castle of Vlad is in ruins.Probably a 1m tall wall is left and is all covered by nature.In castle Bram, Vlad was only in prison for a few months, but not his castle by far.

A Romanian friend of mine told me that even to this day the locals in the village below NEVER venture out after dark. And all the shops close before dark. Now and again when someone gos missing the police are rarely called. Dracula is blamed. Crazy but true.

Nah not really, just myths, and he probs messing with you. Living in Romania, visitting the beatiful place, all the myths we get are just some vampires, the country is well, you could say it is nice, but coming from a smaller city it kinda isn't, the stereotype for our roads are just *h o l e s*, you can find lots of hole on the roads.

Really built this house. When wings come out i grow talons and can move large stone and cut them very easily. 32000 times increase in srenghth can still weild swords. Built this house way before there was any crips

It is very similar to Roberto Cacciapaglia's piece Home (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/p9SnZtx2x73PfH0.html), which I've always liked. There are some differences in both direction and arrangement; this one is more string-oriented, whereas Cacciapaglia brings the piano into play. Similar sounding pieces, though.

for a few bucks more they let you go upstairs to check out the torture display. Saws, chastity belts, the iron maiden, stakes for impalement. I even brought a bela lugosi dracula mask and took a selfie overlooking the courtyard. The locals just rolled their eyes probably thinking "americans". The slideshow of the trip is on my channel.

I was living in this house before religion existed so I really dont know where those stories came from its kind of ironic. Similar to dracula I turn into a winged 12 feet tall creature the wings are more batlike but I do grow a beak that breathes flames

This i s NOT the castle of Bram Stokers Dracula, that is somewhere else. This castle also has NO association with Vlad the Impaler. This is just a rourist trap and has no dark past of significance tbh! There are no 'bad memories' of this castle anywhere tbh!

WRONG !!! indeed it is not the castle of Vlad the impaler but he has been imprisoned here for a long period of time.And it is believed that Bram Stocker got inspired by this castle prior to writing his gothic novel "Dracula".The castle that Vlad built is Castle "Poenari" but it is very hard to reach and did not survive the centuries as well as this one did
