Casting an object in clear resin 2

On this episode of Bens Worx I cast a plastic figurine in epoxy resin and turn it into a burl hybrid dragon egg. I left it to cure in the pressure pot and then turned it on the lathe, I polished it up with some Yorkshire grit on the buffing wheel.

I think the only way to customize this a little further would be to redo the paint on the figurine. I like that, if I had the tools I would definitely try it.

I'm just starting on resincrafting, and I was wondering how long you ran the egg on the polishing wheel, as I'm trying to get a good gauge for "I'm making progress" to "I screwed up somewhere, this ISN'T polishing up"

You should try this with the gameprint sto ships it’s a idea I have to encase a constitution class in a sphere of clear resin I was just gonna do a sphere mold but you have the tools I don’t I wanta try this experiment becuz many of their sto ships have a habit of sagging necelles unfortunately I don’t have the tools that you have basically I wanta see if it survives encasement without farer sagging after the flaws are corrected from the print

U did it u s.o.b. XD see a dragon with resin ;) (candle stores or antique mall stops carry dragon statues n other items often from my experience if u wanted a easy mold most of them are hollow!!
