@@MichaelThomas-iu5gz I think the white powder is bakin Soda? the black granules are 100%graphite. graphite neither expands our contracts when heated.that's why it's used for making moldsbecause of its stability.look up what that powder is to be sure,I'm sure it's some kind of rosin

Nickles and dimes melted with some copper wire. Add some silicon ie sand and you get a good quality bronze. Getting the ratio is the hard part; you want around 12% tin from the coins and like 1-2% silicon and phosphorus, the rest copper. Good for anything that needs an edge: hard enough to not dull easily, soft enough to sharpen, unlikely to break and corrosion resistant. Makes for great knife material. Better than steel IMO cuz it doesn’t need as much babying, but it’s not cut our for heavy work like wood splitting so save it for knives. And arrowheads.

You can buy an alloy of bronze that's called 'ancient bronze', that's my best guess. It's supposed to be good for casting.
