Hey you guys! Thanks for joining us on another journey, this week's Transylvania guide features us visiting Biertan Fortified Church and Saschiz Fortress in Romania. Looking for the things to know before you go to Romania? Wondering what to do when you visit Transylvania? Our latest Eastern Europe travel vlog shows you a couple of the most beautiful places in Romania...so please give it a full watch! It was awesome to basically have the fortress all to ourselves. We learned about a marital prison on site and an intricately designed door lock on the treasury. What a cool experience to drive through Biertan Village, and others in Transylvania Romania! Saschiz Fortress got us excited when we saw it from afar, but not long after we started walking toward its entrance...well, you will have to watch to see! 😎 In our opinions, these two historical structures are must-sees in Romania, so we recommend you include them in your itinerary when you visit Romania.

Never been to Romania but there is much to explore there. I really enjoyed your video. Likewise drone shots and all this helpful information made it pleasant to watch. That locking mechanism on the door was incredible :-) Thank you for sharing it.

Castles are the one I love to visit, I read stories of Dracula castle in Transylvania in Romania, I really loved your Drone footage, the place looks the amazing and best part it no tourist can be seen so you enjoyed the place all by yourself.

Haha, thank you! We decided to have fun with it after getting over the devastation of all the lost sound. They probably didn't want to be held liable if we hurt ourselves, but that was a very cool fortress we hope to go back to once they finish restoring it! Thank you for watching

Dirt roads totally DO lead to adventures. Loving the drone shot of the castle at 1:33. It looks so majestic. I'm pretty sure being locked in that room for 2 weeks would make anyone want a divorce haha. Only 1 actually divorced?! I feel like that figure would be higher these days lol. Oh I recognise the music track! 😉Oh no you got turned away from the ruins! At least you got a good look before :)

Oh no! That stinks your microphone died but I enjoyed the voice over. LOL at its not an adventure if you aren't on a dirt road! The door of the treasury at Biertan had such a wonderful design. Very detailed. And that divorce area was too much! I'm surprised only one marriage failed after being in there!

Ooo no, feel sorry for you guys about the mic but you did a great job with the voice over! The divorce thing is so weird and funny. And as you say in the video...wonder how many ended up killing each other instead. Haha! The Biertan church is so beautiful and so good that it was not crowded. Such a shame that you couldn't explore Saschiz Fortress properly. Love the drone shots in the video and choice of music. We have never been to Romania but we definitely want to go and explore the castles. We always enjoy watching your videos guys!

Oops... On another one of your videos I commented that I like this new format. Little did I know your mic broke! How annoying, a real nightmare! That lock on the door is crazy! The Saschiz fortress also looks impressive, it's good they're restoring it. Hopefully many people will visit it in the future.

Yep, I was mad and sad when I found out I'd lost the audio. Let's just say we are more diligent about checking footage more frequently now. 😎 We hope to visit Saschiz after it is completed; it really intrigued us!

I haven't seen any castles in life. It's great to watch them from your video! Those drone footages give an impressive view from the top. The village seems very quiet, is that usually that quiet?

Absolutely amazing how much Romanian churches looked like Spanish churches in California. I had to double check what I was watching because I forgot where you were and thought you were following the missions. And I like to stay on paved roads. So I'm with her ;-)

It is annoying when mic suddenly stopped working. Oh well, technology. Love all the historical facts in your video. Very informative. The neighborhood is beautiful as well with the church being at the center. 4:45 looks like a spooky road. I don't want to be stuck there during night time.
