Released on the last day of December 1998, this is the first game of the Castlevania series that's in 3D. Dracula's minions are beginning to leak out of the castle proper into nearby villages, spreading havoc and looking for a suitable vessel for their dark lord's spirit. I remember playing this game as a kid and would get freaked out by the garden level and being chased by the chainsaw guy. I did manage to beat it with both characters so go me. Awesome run by the way!

This run is really good simply on how informative this is. Also the couch commentary is excellent. Blueglass is one of my favourite ones. I'm looking forward to AGDQ 2014 and TGT 2013!

One of my fav games when I was a kid, so naturally I bought on ebay about a year ago... So I start playing the game, and I'm all into it and having a great time and BAAAM, after the elevator scene I had to start over because I was playing on easy and I completely forgot about that tiny little detail! Merciless!!!!

RiNkE spielt ... I've watched multiple speed-runners on this channel other than Cosmo, and they all sat there, not even trying to make the run more interesting, while letting all of the backseat gamers that attend the speed-runs do all of the talking and explanations.

Ok, so Cosmo dies in the spikes in the left tower while the guy is reading donations. He then waits to do another donation right when he has to attempt it again. Really need to get a donation scroll

i liked this game it had dark atmosphere the characters had personality, even though it had severe camera problems and bad implemented platforms the action and the story were fun enough to keep you interested…

Ah come on now, this game is mediocre at best. I really wanted to love this game in my early teens but even at that time I knew better. It started the long standing tradition of bad 3D Castlevenia games. You have all the rights to love this game but maaaaaaaaaan it's far from being a good game.

A crazy glitch that happen to me when I had this game is affter beating the maze one of the dogs spwned in that back allie way and I unded up missing the key to the maze/ vampire and villager vampire boss's in the dungeon and I was toscared to go back lol

If you purchase more than 10k from the shop the speed run is longer because you have to fight him. its a trick in the contract to give him your soul pass 10k

It has great atmosphere and some of my favorite music in the series. The game itself seems like a dream come true to me that seems to be a mix of the classicvanias and metroidvanias, and Carrie is adorable as hell. I hadn't played it myself, but I've heard very mixed opinions about it, and you have to admit some of the design choices they had were a bit baffling, like as in if they just threw them in and hoped it would work, such as the bomb puzzle and the randomized health of the skeletons. Stop your fowl language, nobody has played everything you know.

This is the story of a lot of transexuals and homosexual people. Not all of them are in it by conviction, but rather by lack of coherence between what happens in their life and what they expect. Games are a form of escapism, changing gender is a huge leap, but for many it is a major show of escapism as well.

Mark Wooten not sure on how fan of the Castlevania Saga are u and i know there are divided opinions about the 64vanias but this one and Legacy are the most true to the classic turned into 3D Castlevanias ever made (exceptuating the change from hearts to crystals that were intended for possible plot with an eliminated character/boss from the tower of sorcery) Also the team behind 64vanias had even more plans for the game but sadly Konami pushed too much on the deadlines and many of the original ideas were taken out
