This is my stereo mix of the Famicom version of "Aquarius" from Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse OST or as it's known in Japan Akumajou Densetsu.
I exported each individual sound wave directly from the game then imported them into the DAW I use which is Cubase Pro 10.5. Every sound you hear is all original audio. No kick, snare, hi-hat, or synth recreations. A small handful of plugins were used, and EQ'ing and panning were implemented as you'll hear.
This is a true stereo mix. The NES / Famicom was not capable of producing stereo sound so things like a Y splitter only gave the illusion of a stereo sound.
