Lord's of shadow was a great game with a great story that made sense of the Dracula Belmont beef. the ds squeal was a great throw back to it's 2D roots with a good story & have play to complement it. Lords of shadow 2 was just a hot mess I don't know what happen

I wished so much that you could Play Alucard even as a costume in the main story, would have loved it, keep the generic whip/sword/fist powers that Dracula has, just give me Alucard in his trench coat as the model and my god I would replay this game 5 times over.

How to make the perfekt los game. Let Alucard be the fucking maincharacter! Dualwielding sword combat or 1 big twohander sword. No more climbing shit no more stealth just tons of fights and good boss battles. Taunt button. Keep the dark tone. Finished.

'Defiled beauty', it can be a wink wink at either him being a vampire made from among the greatest brotherhood warriors of all time (short of his father), a play on the 'imperfect' son as Dracula hoped Alucard would join him when he had awoken from his rebirth decades after he had been killed, maybe even on how Alucard 'denies' Fate even if it is in vain, unlike his father who accepted it more readily despite its cruelties (why Gabriel does not have deformations pass the grey-veiny skin and old cat lady nails, it agreed with him better because he willingly became a vampire).

I think it is the side effect of rejecting being feed on blood as a vampire. kind of having this reference on other vampire movie/game if the protagonist is a vampire but refuse to feed.

Why the hell does Dracula need magic weapons? He's Dracula. I felt they rather ruined the character by having him rely on relics. What about the awesome demonic power he got when he devoured the Forgotten One? Shouldn't that be enough?

Hmm. And yet they seem a bit... limited if this is the case. The great and powerful Dark Lord, limited to throwing a few fireballs and using a sword and whip? Meanwhile on the N64 he turned into a 200 foot high dragon centipede monstrosity and started blowing up the entire battlefield with magical nukes.

Dracula was weakened after alucard stabbed him with the crissaegrim. Which put dracula to an eternal sleep. Which also causes dracula to lose not only his powers but also his memories as well.

there something missing about these Castlevania's games lately. The Gothic-ness and the Classy-ness style of the characters are completely changed into a barbaric/vikings/medieval style.,, also the accents or the way of Dracula speaks (some kind of french) and of being a poet style of conversation is gone... what happened to the classic story writers and developers of this game?

This game was an insult to the awesomeness of Alucard in Symphony of the Night. Everything that made SotN great, they took that and pissed on it by making this abomination of a game.
